Remove the fuser assembly
Remove the rear cover
Remove the fuser top duct screw and disconnect tab
Remove the top duct
Remove the redrive belt cover duct
Remove fuser left duct
Remove fuser bottom duct
Swing lever and disengage VTB shaft
Remove the fuser drive assembly screws and remove the fuser drive assembly
Disconnect the J33 and J35 cables from the system board
Remove the four LVPS screws from the rear of the printer
Remove the right rear cover screw
Remove the screw from the top of the LVPS and remove the LVPS from the
printer.
Installation notes
• When installing the new power supply, set the voltage range switch to the proper power setting for the
geographic area you are in.
• Be sure to set the voltage range selector switch (A) on the LVPS to the proper setting.

If it seems to power on but you don't get anything on display.....you're LVPS (Low Voltage Power Supply) is shot. Needs to be replaced but Lexmark no longer support this model. You might be able to find one from third party parts site.

Try to power cycle the printer Ii.e., power off and on).Verify whether machine has power (check fan, LED). Verify if fan is running. If fan is not running, replace LVPS (Low voltage power supply. Part # 40X5409. For further assistance please contact Lexmark Technical Support.

Error 931
In most cases this error has something to do with the printers LVPS (Low Voltage Power Supply ).
If the printer is connected to power surge, try to connect it to an outlet from the wall. Do an An AC power check - check the AC line voltage at the end of the AC line cord. If the Ac line cord is incorrect, replace the cord.
Also check if the cord is in good condition. if not, replace the cord. If you still get the same errror, you may need to replace the printers' LVPS.

Please try reseat power cable. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to replace the LVPS ( Low voltage power supply) on your printer.

My Lexmark C544dn laser printer just up and died - I had just put in new paper, hit print on my Mac and when nothing happened, I realized the machine was off. Yes, I checked the power cord at the machine...
Please try to do the following steps

• Check the AC line voltage. Is the line voltage correct? If not connect it to the correct line voltage
• Check if the AC line cord damaged. If damaged replace the AC line cord
• Is the LVPS cable correctly connected at JLVPS1 on the controller board? If not Reconnect the cable at JLVPS1
• Turn the printer off, and then on. Does the problem persist?
• Damage to the printer is possible. Be careful to touch only one conductor at a time, Rest the probe against the connector to steady it.
• Replace the LVPS - Low-voltage power supply (LVPS)

My printer doesnt work it doenst switch on at all
If printer doesn't work and it doesn't switch on, I assumed that there is no power at all on the printer. Check the AC line voltage if it is correct.

Unplug the printer. Remove the LVPS/HVPS, and check the fuses for continuity.

• If open, then replace the LVPS/HVPS.
• If not open, then check the switch continuity across its conductors with the switch on.
Turn the switch off. Plug the AC line into the LVPS/HVPS, and switch unit on.

Please try reseat power cable. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to replace the LVPS (Low voltage power supply) on your printer.

Color LAser Printer is plugged in , everything has been checked - printer won't turn on. Changed cords, tried different printer in electrical socket, printing from a different computer, etc. - nothing...
Based on your troubleeshooting already preformed. the next step would be to replace the LVPS (Low Voltage power Supply)
After replacing that if their is still no power it would be on to the HVPS (High Voltage Power Supply)

Lexmark c760 printer stopped printing, no lights no power HELP
if you have no lights on the display, the possibility of a bad power supply is good, bring it to any of the computer store with a service or a computer repair shop, have them check it. if you have voltmeter, test the output from the low voltage transformer that goes into the printer against the rating on the transformer.

The printer (Lexmark C760) won't power on
Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

This error normally requires a service call. However, certain rare occurrences, such as a stray static discharge in the vicinity of the printer or a power fluctuation, can cause a false 103 ITU error message to appear. If possible, connect the printer's power cord directly into a grounded wall outlet. In rare instances, a surge protector or uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can generate false error messages.
