Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause this problem:

follow the troubleshooting procedure a computer needs all of the data and :electrical current to travel through every device and to have an end to be able work properly:

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working hope this helps also it could be a dirty computer clean all of the dust from your computer you could use a vacuum cleaner but whatever you use make absolutely sure there is no moisture gets to anything in your computer

also check the Cmos battery and computer ram make sure they are securely seated

My sp will not charge, I am not sure if it is the battery or something else

Game Boy Advance SP - Charging Light Won't Display If the orange-colored charge light on your Game Boy Advance SP is no longer coming on when the A/C Adapter is connected to your system, please use the following troubleshooting steps.
    Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Make Sure the Game Boy Advance SP Isn't Already Fully Charged
If the battery is already fully charged, the light will not display when the system is plugged into the AC Adapter. Play a game without using the AC Adapter for at least 10-15 minutes, then plug the AC Adapter in, to see if the light comes on. If it does come on, the battery was fully charged. If the light still does not come on, see Step 2.

    2. Make Sure the Outlet You Are Using Works
Plugging another electrical device into the outlet is a good way to check if the outlet works, or that the outlet you are using is not controlled by a nearby light switch. You may also want to try a different outlet.

    3. Try a Different Licensed AC Adapter
If the charging light doesn't display, try a different AC Adapter, if possible, to determine if perhaps the problem is with the adapter.

      • If a different AC Adapter works, you will need to get a replacement AC Adapter from our Online Store, or by calling our Consumer Service Department at 1-800-255-3700.
      • If a different AC Adapter doesn't work, or if a replacement AC Adapter is not available and the lights will not display, we recommend having your Game Boy Advance SP repaired. Check out our convenient repair options.

Note: Please be sure to include both the Game Boy Advance SP and the AC Adapter with any repair

Nintendo ds will not turn on. Plugging in the charger blinks and orange light, and then nothing. will not power on while plugged in, or not. is this the battery?

No Power

Make sure that the word "Wii" and the model number "RVL-002 (USA)" molded into the AC adapter. Unlicensed products are not fully compatible and may not work correctly.
Avoid the use of unlicensed products such as memory cards, controllers, and cheat devices. Some of these products are poorly manufactured and may result in damage to your system. If one of these products is attached to your system, remove it and try resetting the AC Adapter (see below).
Check all accessories, licensed or not, for phsyical damage. Physical damage, such as frayed wiring or a cracked housing can cause the system to shut down. Remove any damaged products and try resetting the AC Adapter (see below).
Make sure the Wii has good ventilation. Avoid operating the Wii while it's on carpeting or inside an enclosed space. If you have the Wii placed in a vertical position, make sure the vent on the bottom is lined up properly with the hole in the plastic stand and no foreign material is obstructing that hole.
Check the vents on the back and side of the Wii for dust build up. The system will shut down if it cannot vent properly to prevent overheating. If there is a build-up, remove it using a vaccum cleaner with a soft brush attachment.
Make sure that your wall outlet works. To check it, try plugging a lamp into the same outlet where your system was plugged in. Turn the lamp on the verify the outlet works. Also, make sure you are not using an outlet that is operated from a wall switch. If you do, make sure the wall switch is in the ON position.
Make sure the AC adapter is attached properly. Firmly plug your AC adapter into the back of the Wii (the port is labeled 12V IN) and into a working wall outlet (not a power strip or surge protector). Click here for detailed instructions.
Once plugged in, check the power light on the Power button to see if the system is receiving power.

If this fails, try resetting the AC adapter.

Unplug/remove all accessories from the system (including game discs, SD Cards, memory cards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, hookup cables, the AC Adapter, and Sensor Bar) from the outlet and Wii.
Let the system rest for about 90 seconds. While you're waiting, check to see that controller cords, AC Adapter, and Stereo AV cables/Component Video cables are not frayed or have exposed wires (this can cause the system to shut off); if so, you should replace those parts.
After the 90 seconds, Plug the AC Adapter into the system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. Check to see if the power light on the Power button comes on.

If the system works, plug ONE accessory into your system starting with the Sensor Bar, then turn the system on to see if it still works. Repeat this process with ONE accessory at a time. If your system doesn't work once you put a particular accessory in (Sensor Bar, GameDisc, Nintendo GameCube controller, Memory Card, SD Card, etc.), there may be something defective with that accessory.

If the power is still continually shutting off regularly, please click here for repair options. For this particular symptom, it is best to include your Wii console's AC Adapter with your system. This will help our technicians ensure they are able to resolve your issue.

I have power to wii console but when power button is pressed, blue light around disc insert appears then system loses all power. What's the problem and how can I fix it?

willysm38

If the unit loses all power after pressing the power button it sound like a problem with the AC adapter or the power circuit inside the Wii.

What I would do is borrow AC adapter from a friend and try it on your system. If it works then you just need to replace your AC adapter. If it does not work then there is something wrong with the mainboard on the Wii. If you had the system less than a year I would contact Wii support about getting an RMA.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions

The light wont even turn on when i try to turn mine on, it hasnt been turned on in a while so i yeh , does anyone knoe what i should do ??

  1. Make sure you are using a licensed AC Adapter (the system's power cord). The name Nintendo should be molded into the actual AC Adapter unit. Unlicensed products are not fully compatible with Nintendo systems and may not work correctly. Also ensure all accessories connected to your system are licensed as well. (Expansion Pak, Controllers, Rumble Pak and Controller Pak.)
  2. Make sure you are not using any game enhancing devices. Such devices are unlicensed and are not recommended by Nintendo, as they may not let your system function properly.
  3. Firmly plug the AC Adapter into the AC Power Supply port on the back of the Control Deck and firmly plug the AC Adapter into the wall outlet.
  4. Make sure your wall outlet works. To check it, try plugging a lamp into the same outlet where your system was plugged in. Turn the lamp on the verify the outlet works. Also, make sure you are not using an outlet that is operated from a wall switch. If you do, make sure the wall switch is in the ON position.
  5. Slide the Power Switch on the Control Deck to the ON position.
  6. If it still does not work, you'll need to RESET the AC Adapter. To do this, remove all the accessories (including the Game Pak and all controllers) from the deck. Unplug the power supply from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If your system works without the Game Pak and controllers plugged in, there may be something defective with either the Game Pak or one of the accessories. Turn the power off and plug ONE accessory into your system, then turn the system on to see if it still works. Repeat this process with ONE accessory at a time to see if you can figure out which accessory may be in need of repair.
If these steps do not resolve the symptoms you are experiencing with your system, your system may need to be replaced. For more information on what options are available, please click here.

Ds will not turn on.power light is on,ds is fully charged.nothing comes on screen.

Most power issues with the Wii can be fixed by resetting the AC adapter. You can easily reset the AC adapter by following these steps:
1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. The AC adapter must remain unplugged at both ends for a full 2 minutes.
3. We also recommend you unplug anything connected to the USB ports and the Nintendo GameCube Controller ports (such as LAN Adapters, keyboards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, etc.).
4. While you're waiting, check the AC Adapter for the following:
? Make sure that the word "Wii" and the model number "RVL-002 (USA)" molded into the AC adapter. Unlicensed products are not fully compatible and may not work correctly.
? Check the AC Adapter for physical damage. Physical damage, such as frayed wiring or a cracked housing can cause the system to shut down. If your AC Adapter shows signs of physical damage and needs to be replaced, you can purchase one from Nintendo's online store.
5. After you've waited 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter into the Wii system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. If the power light comes on and stays on, then it appears resetting the AC Adapter worked.
If resetting the AC Adapter did not fix your power issues, please continue reading:
? Avoid the use of unlicensed products such as memory cards, controllers, and cheat devices. Some of these products are poorly manufactured and may result in damage to your system. If one of these products is attached to your system, remove it and try resetting the AC Adapter (see above).
? Check any accessories that connect to the Nintendo GameCube Controller ports or the USB ports of the Wii -- whether licensed or not -- for physical damage. Physical damage, such as frayed wiring or a cracked housing can cause the system to shut down. Remove any damaged products and try resetting the AC Adapter again (see above).
? Make sure the Wii has good ventilation. Avoid operating the Wii while it's on carpeting or inside an enclosed space. If you have the Wii placed in a vertical position, make sure the vent on the bottom is lined up properly with the hole in the plastic stand and no foreign material is obstructing that hole.

Hi,Nintendo DS lite console system will not power up
their are fuses inside the consul one of them my have blown. You need a special screw driver you can get the fuses and screw driver on ebay.Try Youtube for a video on how to do this.

Is the power not working on your Nintendo Wii? This can be a frustrating occurrence, especially if your Nintendo Wii was working properly before. While there are a number of reasons why this might occur, there are two common ones -- the use of a non-licensed or genuine AC adapter, or a failed AC Adapter on your Nintendo Wii. On very rare occasions, the power supply adapter on your Nintendo Wii may requiring the entire Nintendo Wii unit may need to be replaced.

However, before get too worried about that -- let's try a few basic troubleshooting procedures to try and diagnose the issue. Nintendo guide on this problem is fairly comprehensive and has some good content, so I have included that below. In addition, you will want to check that following common issues before moving forward.
1. Check and make sure your cables are properly plugged in. This may sound silly, but sometimes they can become loosened causing bad power connections. Best to check before you spend much time troubleshooting.
2. Does the power strip or wall outlet that your are plugging the Nintendo Wii into have power? Make sure you can plug in other devices into that same outlet to verify there is not an issue with either the power strip or the wall outlet.
3. Make sure there is adequate ventilation. Although it is covered below, it is best to make sure there is several inches of free space at the back of the Nintendo Wii to provide good air circulation to the Wii so it does not overheat.
Here is the Nintendo information on trying to troubleshoot power problems on a Nintendo Wii:
1. Make sure that the word "Wii" and the model number "RVL-002 (USA)" molded into the AC adapter. Unlicensed products are not fully compatible and may not work
correctly.

2. Avoid the use of unlicensed products such as memory cards, controllers, and cheat devices. Some of these products are poorly manufactured and may result in damage to your system. If one of these products is attached to your system, remove it and try resetting the AC Adapter (see below).

3. Check all accessories, licensed or not, for physical damage. Physical damage, such as frayed wiring or a cracked housing can cause the system to shut down. Remove any damaged products and try resetting the AC Adapter (see below).

5. Check the vents on the back and side of the Wii for dust build up. The system will shut down if it cannot vent properly to prevent overheating. If there is a build-up, remove it using a vaccum cleaner with a soft brush attachment.

7. Make sure the AC adapter is attached properly. Firmly plug your AC adapter into the back of the Wii (the port is labeled 12V IN) and into a working wall outlet.

8. Once plugged in, check the power light on the Power button to see if the system is receiving power.

If this fails, try resetting the AC adapter.

1. Unplug/remove all accessories from the system (including game discs, SD Cards, memory cards, Nintendo Game Cube controllers, hookup cables, the AC Adapter, and Sensor Bar) from the outlet and Wii.

2. Let the system rest for about 90 seconds. While you're waiting, check to see that controller cords, AC Adapter, and Stereo AV cables/Component Video cables are not frayed or have exposed wires (this can cause the system to shut off); if so, you should replace those parts.

Nintendo dslite wont turn on.tried charging it wit 3 different charges and it still wont charge

Ensure that you are properly recharging the battery.

1. Insert the small end of the adapter into the external extension connector (labeled "5.2V=IN") on the back of the Nintendo DS Lite, just next to the SLOT 1 Game Card opening.

2. Swing the prongs on the AC adapter until they lock into place, then insert it into a standard (120 volt) outlet.

The plug should be mounted vertically or on a floor outlet (such as a power strip).

3. Once the adapter is properly inserted, the unit will begin to charge (the orange charging light will display).

4. Once the DS Lite is fully charged, the orange charge light will go off.

Check the AC Adapter for damage (such as bent prongs or split wires). If you see damage to the AC Adapter, purchase a replacement from Nintendos Online Store.

Try plugging the AC Adapter into another wall outlet. Its possible the outlet is not working properly and has not been charging the Nintendo DS Lite.

If you are unable to get power to your Nintendo DS Lite, despite trying to properly recharge the unit, then your system will need to be repaired.

Nintendo offers convenient repairs, fast turnaround times and, for all systems repaired, a new one-year manufacturer's warranty.
