Question about Intel Motherboard
I have purchased this MSI board three years b4. i dont know the model no. when i start the computer it gets hung at teh 1st sag only where it provides an option to press TAB "for Post" or DEL "to enter BIOS setup". teh key board becomes inactive. i have tried many methods to get it started but it is not working. Also another thing i noticed was that when i removed the power cable from Harddisk it is passing the CMOS. Please suggest.
Either the hard drive cable isn't plugged in correctly or the power supply connector is faulty and try another power connector. With the hard drive, make sure the cable to the hard drive is connected withe the red line on cable faced to the same side as the power connector. Also check that the connector on the hard drive is either on Master or Slave mode if on the same cable as the CD Rom. The motherboard sounds like it's working correctly. Even try to see if connectors are correct on the CD Rom and floppy drive. Good Luck!
