I have an old but trusty MasterFlavour Char Broil LP Gas BBQ 4635801 with built in Accuflex 451-05 5/16" hose (1 psi max) and standard US/Canadian regulator but I am now in the UK and want to know if I can use it here, and if so do I need to change the regulator or the hose and regulator? Most UK suppliers seem to use a 27mm propane clip or threaded regulator. Thanks S

Yes, Susan, you will need to change the Hose/Regulator Assembly. You can probably pick one up at any store that sells gas grills and accessories. I suggest that you take your old one with you for comparison purposes., when you go to purchase one. In the USA, the assembly runs about $30.00.

I would like to convert a grill that was used on natural gas back to propane. Can I just purchase a regulator and hose and be good, or do I need to change anything else on the grill?

Burner orifices must be resized or adjusted to accommodate higher pressure LP.
Air shutters should be opened all the way to allow maximum air to gas ration.

Cb-6000dlx-w char broil bbq. (4646166) I purchased this bbq around 8yrs ago and believe it or not I have just taken it out of the box! however there are no assembly instructions with it!!! I have tried...

Barry, short of contacting Char-broil Customer Support 1-866-239-6777, I doubt there is one available.I checked my list of over 100 Char-Broil models and it wasn't on it. In addition, you may need to replace the Hose/Regulator that came with that model, as it probably won't fit today's grill tanks. But, it's not a big deal. You can pick one up at any hardware store or home improvement center that sells grills and accessories. The run about $30.00.

Good luck in your search and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Need to purchase replacement regulator/valve (one piece) for patio caddie grill??

If what you're looking for is the Regulator/Tank Hose Assembly, you can purchase that for any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills. They are pretty much a universal fii, but be sure to take your old one with you for comparison purposes of the hose length. A little longer is ok, but shorter is not.

If that's not what you're looking for, you can purchase replacement parts directly form Char-Broil.

Char broil patio caddie, how many coals should it contain?

Your referring to the 'LAVA ROCK' which lines the botton grate. There should be enough to cover the grate 1 layer deep only.
