Ipod nano 4th gen was diconnected from itunes without being ejected and ipod has frozen

Press the top button and the home button (on/off switch) at the same time for about 7 seconds.
Until you see the Apple logo.

Then let your Ipod initialize and syncronize as normal.

This will hopefully help you.

Syncronizing

Use iTunes. Connect your iPod to computer, open iTunes, click on the icon of the iPod, click on the music tab, and select the folder in which your music is stored - iTunes will add every song in that folder, so make sure you have enough space for all your music. BTW, Apple's website has full versions of the user manuals for every variety of iPod.

Apple ipod 1gb locked and dont know the combination and cant sync

Connect it to the computer you normally sync with.

Open iTunes then disconnect the iPod.

If that doesn't work you can "hard reset" by restoring it to factory defaults. Doing this also erases everything you have on it so you will lose your movies, music, files, etc.

Connect it to the computer and open iTunes.

Click "Restore" and select "Restore" or "Restore and Update" to make sure you're on the latest firmware.

Good luck.

Itunes dont find iPod

You may have a USB conflict so try unplugging some of your usb devices and see which one if any has a conflict with your ipod. I saw where this cured the problem on another website.

Charging ipod 4gb

Yes, the iPod will show that it is charging on its screen. Disconnecting without ejecting can cause data loss of whatever is stored on the iPod
Ejecting is when you remove the iPod from the desktop by dragging its icon to the trash or clicking on the down arrow next to the iPods name from within iTunes.

If you use the library computer, usually a Windows based OS, you'll need to click on the iPod icon from the task tray on the lower right of the screen. You can right click to select the remove option

Do Not disconnect message

if you don't eject the iPod, that is what will happen.

to eject it alternatively, what you should do is go into control panel\system and find the device manager.

You should find it under removable drives. click it and and select disable.

Then it should be ejected.

hope this helps.
