External hard drive will not auto run. Task manager recognizes it as a usb mass storage, but it will not auto run and I am unable to access it in "my computer"

ITS VERY EASY,, I THINK YOU USB DRIVE IS NOT COMPATIBLE TO THE COMPUTER,,, BUT THERE IS ANOTHER SOLUTION!! CLICK ON "MY COMPUTER" and click the "folders" above!! and the menu folder will appear the the left side the you can click your unit there!!!
