For a memory card reader, your computer should have a driver if you are on Windows 7. Most memory card readers are also recognised by MAC computers. The jpg files from your computer should show up on your computer too. If you have an old operating system on your computer, you need a CD that once came with the card reader, because most firms take care you get the drivers for that. You also could try to get the drivers for the card reader when you google on de card readers brand name.
do you have a sound cards in your camera where you can take out the card and put it into a computer. try this buy a card reader and put the card into the reader and hook it up to the mac, (which I have ) and maybe they will show up. you have a program on the mac called i photo and thats how i do my pics, but if it doesnt show then yes u prob lost them but try this. it may work good luck.
Plug in a Memory Card, in the Card Reader, then Right-Click on My Computer Icon, Click on Manage, Then go to Disk Management, If you can find the Memory card Detected there but without a drive letter, then right-click on it and Give it a distinct(New) Drive letter and apply, but if it already has a drive letter assigned, then change it to a new one...i.e, assign to it a new Drive letter.
simply check the memory card through card reader if it works then u have to check the socket of phone where the card is to be inserted.. that one is causing problem...may be its pins are not propely being connected with the memory card..
if the card doesnt work even with memory card reader then the card is faulty...or if u dont have memory card reader just put your memory card in another compatible phone to check.. or get another card and put it in your phone for checking..
hope it will fix the issue so dont forget to rate it...
maybe the card reader is not SD/SD HC compatible, the same problem occurs wiith the Memory Stick Pro/Duo of sizes 2GB or above in my Desktop Computer (Compaq) and not in my Notebook (Compaq) the card reader and the machine are newest and are compatible
Is the card reader built into the computer?
I know there are a few card readers out there having trouble reading 2 gig memory cards if the computer or card reader was built over 5 years ago.
If you have a data cable for your phone and software for the phone, your computer should be able to read it that way.
Yeah, if you just plug it into the computer and insert a card, the drive pops up on your screen. The CD is not required (thank God) and it WILL GET STUCK, so don't try to insert it. (I did...took me 15 minutes and some very small tweezers to get the stupid thing out!)
