You should take the phone and have the lcd replaced on the phone or the problem could be from the flexcable on the phone.

Instructions to replace the samsung sgh-a877 lcd screen?

needs major work. Do it at your own risk. Did everything right but messed up and broke the tab on the touchscreen cable connector on my daughter's phone. Feel crappy. Will post with pictures later on.
1. remove battery/ Sim 2. remove all screws from the back on the black plastic cover. (6 of them) Leave the ones below the battery. 3. Use the pry tool to remove the back case. 4. remove the motherboard, three connectors, one on bottom left, antenna and top right below the board. board comes off. You also have to remove the power connector (transparent plastic) to what appears to be some hf component (cylinder). there are two wires (red, black), red goes to side marked +. remove with pry tool. 5. Remove all small screws you can see. 6. Remove the shiny plate, keyboard button layer. 6a. Remove the lcd connector screw and the connector. 7. Remove screws from the bottom of the lcd portion of the slider. You can access all screws from the back side. Use the slider to get the back of the phone. There are 5 screws. 8. Use the pry tool to take out the back slider. Be careful with the lcd connector. 9. pull up the black tab on the digitizer connection from the screen 10. remove the lcd 11. use a hair dryer to loosen the glue around the broken digitizer. 12. put the new one in 13. Put all the screws back.

Change fasciain nokia 6600 fold

Hi eugenemd,
1. Take front faceplate off by inserting credit card 1 between housing and silver key. As you pull up, take credit card 2 and slide it on the side of the phone prying the clips off.

2. Unscrew these 6 screws at the edges with the T6 screwdriver and release the 4 clips surrounding the LCD screen.

3. Slip the little black frame off of the LCD screen, and lift the screen. You should now see a screw. Removing this screw removes the back cover.

4. That’s it! Put your new faceplate or housing in and figure out how to put things back by following the directions here in reverse order.

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

good luck with your fix,,,
have a nice day,,

A VERY HELPFUL RATING IS APPRECIATED,
Thanks
Regards
Arul

Screen issues

The LCD has gone bad. You can get a replacement one for about 30 dollars from ebay. It is super simple to replace. 2 screws is all.

Replace LCD Screen

the replacement LCD will cost you about 45$ you could just go pay $50 to get it fixed from the store even if you do not have insurance. there are probably some little black/grey dots covering the screws/hex once you get those off you should be able to get the cover off after that its pretty easy.

HI im a tech at repairmysidekick.com the problem is the white screen is because of the many times you fliped the screen open or close and the flex cable which connect the screen to the phone is damaged...if you like an easy fix you can try to open the screen halfway and stick a paperclip in the pinhole on the right to soft reset the lcd if it doesnt work you can also try to remove the screws on the crome base and turn the screen upside down...check the leeds if they are gold there good if black you need to change the flex cable we can do it for you. just visit repairmysidekick.com

LG KG 800 slide

it is a pain to open these. 1. remove the battery & undo the 4 black screws. LG use a thread locking compound (loctite) on all the screws so they will be a **** to undo. 2.Prise the back cover off. 3. Pop apart the 2 rectangular connectors at the top of the keypad circuit board. 4. Lift the top board slightly & pop apart the ribbon/flex cable from the top board. The big silver bit comes off with the flex cable. There is a small bit of adhesive on this so be gentle. 5. undo the 6 silver screws holding the slide mechanism together & lift the slide off over the flex cable. 6. pop the 2 screw covers off the top of the phone then undo the 6 screws holding the front cover on. 7. pop the flex cable off. then the touch pad connector. then the camera lens connector. Gently pull the screen circuit board out of the front cover. Careful as sometimes the speaker is glued in place. 8. Unclip the lcd connector & gently remove the small battery looking thing (it's got red & blue wires on it) from the back of the lcd panel. It's glued on. Have fun. It took me ages to work this out.
