Question about Insignia DVD & Blu-Ray Players

Open Question

My isiginia NS-M100HD the screen started to go black and I read in the top left corner that it lost input signal. The flip down is only user when we go out on trips, it would appear that an internal connection is loose. Is this common and how do I fix it?

SOURCE: screen display is flipped

I simply turned my television off while emailing fixya and reading the user's manual. The television was turned off for about ten minutes. I think what happened was that the dvd skipped while ejecting and caused the screen to flip....who knows, I'm just happy it works properly again because I love to watch movies.

Thanks anyway,
Brett

Setting up my insignia tv to cable

If you need to set your TV up for a cable connection, please enter the on screen Menu, then select Channels, then (depending on your model of TV) Video or Signal source. You should have two or three options: Cable, Cable/Satellite box, or Antenna. Select Cable if you will not be using a set top box. More details on selecting the signal source and setting up your Insignia TV can be found in the User Manual. If you need a copy, please visit InsigniaProducts.com, search for your TV model number, then click on the Support/Downloads tab.

Do not know the activation code for the NS-WBRDVD Insignia Blue Ray from Best Buy. Cannot streamline Netflix without it??

To stream Netflix content you will need to have a computer connected to the internet and a netflix account (even the lowest level should allow you access).

Set your NS-WBRDVD to connect to your wireless network.

Start up Netflix and select you are a new user. You will be given an activation code.

On your computer, log-in to the Netflix website: www.netflix.com On the top right of the screen you should see "Your Account & Help" Click that.

On the "Your Account & Help" screen, in the Account Information section on the bottom right of that grayed box should be "Add Blu-Ray". Click that and you should be prompted to enter the code your NS-WBRDVD gave you.

Once you enter the code and Netflix accepts it, your player should confirm and allow you to watch Netflix streaming content.

Hope this helps!

I have a 32" LCD TV that I can't seem to get any of my DVD players to work on. Keep getting error message "no video signal" but They use to work. help

How do you have your DVD player hooked up to your TV(i.e. composite, s-video, component)? Some DVD payers and TVs have menus to switch inputs and if you somehow switched off the input your players are connected to, you'll get a "no signal" message.  First try hitting the input button on your TV or the Input/connection option in your TV's menu.  If that doesn't work try hooking up the DVD player(s) with the composite Cable(yellow), the component(red, green, blue) and S-Video(black/round) at the same time. If you scroll through your TV's inputs you should get a picture on one of these connections and the TV should display which one. The display will usually be in the corner of the screen.
