Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Web Camera

Installation cd even when i bought my second alibi boynq from a Navy Exchange overseas, it never came with an instalation cd. I was going to use it to speak with my family in the americas but it doesn't work. the speakers do though.

    I have the same problem too..

    I have bought a a 3on1 webcam, named Alibi, producted by Boynq, of Netherlands but in the box there is not any intallation cd, required to install the drivers for Mac and to install the dedicated software..the silly thing is that the manual says that the cd was in the box..more silly is that I have asked to a friend of mine working in the shop I've bought the webcam to open all the boxes in order to find any cd but..NO CD WAS FOUND!!!!!!!!

    maybe can I download from somewhere in the web????

    Already tried on the official site(www.boynq.com) but there is no possibility to download drivers for Mac (only for Win) and there is no trace of the dedicated software..there is no trace of a real technical support too..

    is there anyone that can do something??? I really don't know where to search..really frustrating..this webcam is not SO cheap..

  1. Select type of product. (Web cam)
  2. Select your product (camera model).

Unable to install drivers for my Boynq Alibi Webcam
I had the same problem, I bought it from a store with no CD! After plug the USB i have only sound with no Video.

After googling around i finally found the solution: You can try below.

1, Unplug your USB connector
2, Download the right driver from the real manufacture : http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/drivers/IC_drivers/PCCAM_WHQL_Standard_Installshield_120308.zip
3, Unzip and install the driver.
4, After finished installation, replug the USB connector (You should plug to the different port that you used to plug before)
5, Now window XP finds the right driver and installs for you.
6, Restart your PC, then use Skype to test. It works :)
