I can't log into facebook on my laptop but can on my husbands. It keeps saying "you must log in to view this page" after i have put in my log on details/

That is because when you or husband log in, you have the "Remember Me" box checked which keeps a cookie on the hard drive. Your husband has to log out so you can log in OR download a browser that is just for you (keep the cookies separated). That would probably be easiest solution.

Have you gone in and signed him out of FB?

Actually your husband has remembered his account that's why when you open Facebook,his account comes out automatically. So you need to logout your husband account before open your account. Open Facebook, Your husband page will open. On the home page of there is a drop down menu name as 'Account' on the top right side. When u click on drop down. Drop Down opens and the last option is 'Logout', Just click on it your husband account will be logged out. When it will be logout, Facebook main page (Sign in Page) will open, Now Just enter your Email and password there and your account will be open.

Using the 'borrowed' laptop, go to Facebook. When you see the facebook page of the owner of the laptop, look to your right hand side - top of the page. locate the word, 'Account' and click on it. A menu will drop down.

Go to the bottom of the drop down menu and click on, 'Log Out'.

This will redirect you to the facebook log-in page where you can then log-in using your account.

I would believe that they indeed are experiencing problems; however, since facebook is so popular, it shouldn't take long for them to fix their problems. I would try to log-in again whenever you like.

You can try to log into facebook using another link, please try to log in using:

https://www.facebook.com

On the top right of his facebook page, you should see his account name. Click it and down at the bottom of the menu that pops up it should say 'Log Out'..

Click the Log Out button and it will redirect you back to the facebook homepage without your husband logged in.

Hi,

If you wish the log in to your Facebook account, you will first have to log out of your husband's Facebook account. To do so, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)
