Use your space bar to move carrier to desired location, hold down Alt key button on bottom left (next to space bar) and press the number 5 numeric key on top row. That should set your right margin.
Hold down the ALT(ernate) GR(aphic) key (to the right of the SPACE BAR).
Hold down the SHIFT key.
Press the '@' key.
Release the '@' key.
Release the SHIFT key.
Release the ALT GR key.
Thats a hot key problem. Someone has set a "hot key" on your space bar to make it type that when pushed. Hot keys can be set to do all kinds of things. Like set a combination of pressing two at once to change someones display sideways as a joke ect.
You can turn of hot keys in your computers settings. I dont know what operating system you are running so I cannot give you exact instructions. Just open your help file and type in hot keys and it will tell you where the settings are.
There is usually a metal piece under the space bar, if it isn't seated properly the space bar will teeter. Try to remove again and see if they metal bracket is seated correctly.
To the right of the "space-bar" on the keyboard, hold down the ALT GR ("alternate graphic") key, press the "slash" key, and release the ALT GR key.
Or, in "Regional Settings" within "Control Panel", change your "input method" to "US-English" keyboard, rather than some French or French-Canadian input method.

You can resize windows without the mouse. If the windows is maximized: press and hold the ALT key and then press the SPACE BAR. Now press the R key. This will restore the window to a non-maximized state.
To resize: press and hold the ALT key, and then press the SPACE BAR. Now press the S key to size the window. Next, use the cursor keys to resize the window to your liking and press Enter when done.
