Our hot water tank broke and my husband turned off the water - I accidentally shut the door (which started a cycle) on our Bosch Integra300 - it was left on for close to an hour (obviously not filling with water) - and now that the hot water tank has been turned on, we tried to start the dishwasher, but no water is coming in - did we burn out the motor? Is this a problem that can be fixed by a 'reset'? HELP!?

A reset could work. Most washer are designed to stop when there is no water!!

Sounds like you already know how to fix it. The inlet valve is only held closed by water pressure...if you have low water pressure it could be causing this. Its more likely just a bad fill valve though. The water inlet valve is accessed by removinf the lower kickplate and the sheild behind that. Then all you have to do is remove the water line from the valve, remove the 2 screws holding it and pull it out far enough to disconnect the 2(possibly 3) wires and the fill hose. Make sure to mark where your wires go, if you hook it up wrong it could continue to fill and overflow. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Bosch SHU3036UC/U11 dishwasher does not stop filling with water

Hi,
It sounds as if the main program board has developed a fault - as it should come to a complete stop. The fact it kept the water valve open with the door open is a serious fault- so I would have it checked before using it again.

Most machines have a water-stop feature - so if it develops a leak - it will shut off the water. This clearly didn't happen.

Hot water will not stop flowing. Hot water

Sounds like a bad shutoff solenoid. It operates the valve to let water in and then shut it off. There should be a valve behind the machine where the hose connects to the wall so you don't have to isolate hot water to the entire house.

Question posted under Bosch tankless.
Question says 'tank'
Brand, model, and type heater unknown.
Elements mean electric.
'Thermal cutout pops when taking shower produces cold water' indicates tankless, since tank-type would maintain some hot water.
No error code might indicate tank-type.
Add a comment with type, brand and model number of heater for possible assistance.

Last year we had all the siding on our tv, trailer, replaced due to hail damage. When we finally got our trailer back from the rv repair shop we have had nothing but problems with our Atwood hot water tank...

Immediate danger!
You have a gas leak.
Propane is heavier than air and will settle on the floor.
The floor can be covered and ignite and you will not smell it while standing or sitting or laying in bed.
Absolutely open the door and leave trailer. Turn off the gas to the heater if the shut-off is outside.
Possibly you have a bad gas control valve. This should be repaired professionally.

Just got a new Bosch dishwasher (forget which model). After the dishwashing cycle has ended (even long after), the dishwasher and dishes are still wet. Was this an installation problem? Thanks

Hi -
I can't see how any installation problem would cause this - if the dishes are still wet at the end of the cycle, you'll probably find the water isn't heating during the wash cycle. The dishwasher uses steam to heat the washing compartment and dry the dishes. It would appear that the dishwasher isn't heating water internally.
Even if the washer was accidentally connected to the cold water supply ** (see note), this shouldn't happen as regardless of the water supply temperature, the washer should still heat the water to the correct temperature internally.
** UK dishwashers should be connected to the cold water supply. For US installations, dishwashers are commonly connected to the hot water supply. For other locations, please consult your installation instructions.
I suggest you start a regular wash cycle and leave it to run for 10-15 minutes. Then open the door and test the temperature of the water in the base of the washer by hand. The water should be hot and there should be steam present in the washer when you open the door.
If the water is cold or only warm, the water isn't being heated internally or isn't heating to the correct temperature, in which case you should contact the retailer or Bosch Service immediately for a replacement. Do not accept an offer of repair on a brand new washer!
Additionally, do not attempt to repair the dishwasher yourself when under warrantly as this will invalidate the warranty.
Hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please let me know your location and the model number of the washer. This should be laser-etched into the top of the door if you can't find it on any of your paperwork.

GAs will not shut off when water is turned off. We already bought and replace the water valve. If we turn off the hot water, it makes a terrible sound and overheats. It eventually goes to the emergency...

Turn Hot Temperature down lowerthan current setting. Make sure that Heater operates properly before using. A defective temp sensor can SCALD and BURN. What TYPE of Terrible SOUND? Do you have anyone tht is the least bit mechanical to observe and direct you to the right source. IF your husband enjoys cold showers this sounds like an opportunity to suggest that with WARM baths the two of you can have some Peaceful time! And both come out clean!

After about 5 minutes into a wash cycle, the error "E02" is displayed and the wash cycle stops. What does this error message mean? It isn't in the book that came with the washer.

I just had this problem. My water supply (hot ) had been turned off since my husband used it to fill our hot tub. Other causes were-supply hose kinked, strainers in supply hose clogged, water pressure too low. Hope this solves your problem!

All filters are clean, but water will not come in

Hi, Check the float in the front corner and make sure it moves up and down freely. Also, you can check voltage at the inlet valve. It should get 120V at the start of the wash cycle. If there is voltage, the inlet valve will need replaced. If there is no voltage, the float switch needs tested. It is usually the inlet valve or the float.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Bosch SHU3300 dishwasher stuck on hot water intake (w/ no power)

It sounds like the fill vlave is stuck open. This can happen if your pressure is low or if the machine is old. I would start by replacing the vlave.

No hot water

The machine will only take water from the hot tap when it is set to a 95degree wash, it will heat the water on all other cycles itself. apparently an energy saving feature.
