You need a PUK ( Pin Unblocking Key) code to be able to unblock the counter of you PIN ( Personal Identification Number ) . The code can be found enclose on your sim package .If its not in their,then you have to call your service provider operator and request for that code,or you can go directly in their wireless center for fast approval.

When you already receive the code, just enter it on your mobile that ask for a PUK code,after unlocking it,enter a new PIN code and it will ask to re-enter it again for confirmation.be sure you encode the exact numbers to avoid errors.

One reason for a blocked SIM card is that you may have given wrong PIN or PUK codes. These two are security feature provided by the service provider. And If the SIM card gets blocked, you have to get a new SIM card on a small charge to retain the old number, from the service provider. Please call up their helpline from a friends phone and ask for a new SIM card with the same number.

What you actually need to do is this. Call your mobile service operators, using another line, but of the same network as yours. A friends' or a family members' would do. With that line, call your mobile service operators, and tell them that your line has been blocked and you want it unblocked. By answering a few questions from them, you would have your line unblocked and working in no time.

How To get your PUK Code
All of us maybe wondering where can we get the PUK code if we blocked our SIM.

PUK Code is your Personalized Unblocking Key.
You will find this on the card that held your SIM

If you dont have the PUK Code you have to call your service provider e.g. Verizon, Orange, O2 etc and tell them that you blocked your SIM and you cannot find the Card that has the PUK code.

Complete information :
The SIM card protects your subscription and not the phone from unauthorised users. If you change SIM cards you can still use your phone with a new SIM card. Most SIM cards are blocked at the time of purchase. If your SIM card lock is on you have to enter your PIN (Personal Identity Card) every time you turn on the phone.

If you enter the wrong password three times in a row the SIM card gets blocked. This is indicated by the message PIN Blocked To unblock this you need to enter your PUK

Note:
card (Personal Unblocking Key). Your PIN and PUK is supplied by your service provider. You can edit your PIN and select a new four to eight digit number
  • If the Message Codes do not match appears when you edit your PIN you entered the new PIN incorrectly.
  • If the message Wrong PIN followed by Old PIN appears then it means that you have entered the old PIN incorrectly.

To unblock your SIM card:
  1. When PIN Blocked appears enter your PUK > OK
  2. Enter a new four to eight PIN > OK
  3. Re-enter the new PIN to confirm > OK

To edit your PIN:
  1. > Settings > the General tab > Security > Locks > SIM Protection > Change PIN
  2. Enter your PIN > OK
  3. Enter a new four to eight digit PIN to confirm > OK

To turn the SIM card On /Off
  1. > Settings > the General tab > Security > Locks > SIM Protection > Protection and select On or Off
  2. Enter your PIN > OK
