Question about Clarion VRX935VD Car DVD Player
I would like to know the connection for the power.
I have conneted positive to yellow ( with red marker ) and negative to black ( for testing ) and pressed power however the front panels not lighting up. Could you assist.
The yellow wire is constant 12 volts and is used to maintain radio station presets, clock, and tone settings when the car is turned off. To use the stereo, you need the red wire hooked up to switched power (so that it's got power when the key is turned, and the power shuts down when you shut off the car). That's the one that'll give you "power" to the head unit.
