Dishwasher rack falls off

Could it be that KitchenAid wants you to replace the entire rack? Check with a local appliance parts supplier if you can because the roller must be a hot replacement item.

Upper rack track wheel broke

You can try to obtain the part from KitchenAid or an appliance parts supplier. However, you may only be able to get the complete assembly.

Two grey plastic pieces came loose. Don't know where they belong inside the dishwasher? They are both the same. They apparently hook onto something on the rack, but I don't have a clue?

If these two grey pieces are about 1 1/2" long and a 1/2" wide. They are used to retain the upper rack onto the tracks to prent the rack from falling out and used as a rack stopper. There are two on the front and two on the back of the top rack. How to insert them may differ dependant on the model. look at the two still attached and you may be able to re-install them.

Not dispensing detergent properly---not getting top rack clean-------could this be a problem with the kitchen drain? I clean the filters often. I have Model SHU43C Thanks for the help, Barbara...

Hello Barbra. Not likely a drain problem because the machine is evacuating of the water from the sump. The bottom rack i assume is ok.
So the top rack in not doing it's job.
1.......clean out all of the timy holes in the spray arm.
2.......make sure there is nothing stppind the top arm from turning
give it a flick to see if it spins around freely
3..... tall object in the bottom can stop the arm from turning.
4.......some bosch machines have a divertor valve to alternate the water from the top to bottom racks. The valve. if faulty can be stuck in the bottom position not allowing the top arm to turn. Yopu can check this by turnint both arms to line up with easch other, say both arm ends pointing to you . then close the door and start the machine. after a short while of hearing the water swishing, open the door and see if the arms ahve moved. if both arms are turning then you know the divertor valve is ok. Even if your model does not ahve a divertor valve this is a good way of testing the spray arm operation.
Always use good quality soap and avoid tablets. use powder and make sure you have rinse aid in the dispenser.

Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB2810LDC1 not draining

Sure its redeemable if you have the time and money. If I understand you correctly when you move the lowewr spray arm the water drains out? If this is the case then more than likely its a pump motor or solenoid. Reason I say this is on the bottom of the spray arm is a impeller and under that is filter and then pump impeller that drains the water. If its not draining but will by hand then its your pump motor or solenoid. When you start the washer then press cancel/drain do you hear anything? Maybe a humming sound. One more thing could be a thermal fuse for the motor. These are usually not resetable its a one time fuse if it blows you have o buy another one.Hope this helps

LG DIshwasher

hi Problems with the dish racks usually occur because the racks have been jammed back into the tub housing after they're fully loaded. Careless handling can exert enough force to crack or break the roller wheels or throw the racks off the tracks. The solution is easy: Stop jamming the racks.
The repair is easy, too. Remove the racks by pulling out the tiny metal pins that hold them in the tracks. Or simply lift up on the racks and pull them out of the tracks. Then reinstall the racks on the tracks so that they roll smoothly. If the rollers are cracked or broken, replace them with new ones of the same type. The rollers may be friction-fit to their hubs. Pull them off for replacement. Or, if they are held by tiny spring clips, pull the clips out with pliers, or pry them out with the tip of a screwdriver. If you can't pull the rollers off for replacement, remove and replace the entire rack.

The bottom rack of the dishwasher is always coming off the "track" or what passes for one. The wheels seem too small or the rack isn't wide enough Makes it very diificult to push in or pull out.

A noisy wash cycle or water that won't drain are problems that, for the most part, can be handled yourself. We'll discuss how you can pinpoint these water-related problems in the next section.
