Final spin cycle sounds like an airplane propeller! Makes so much racket, we had to turn it off.

Front Loaders do n ot do so well on smooth, shiny or soft flooring. they tend to jump all over the place on the spin cycle.

There are some things that you can do to improve the situation.
I learned this AFTER I paid for a service call on mine.

We placed a commercial style rug with a thick rubber backing all the way underneath our machine. You can buy the smaller ones usually at hardware stores.

Also, be very selective about loading. Wash towels with towels, and shirts and undies together, and jeans all together. In other words, no mixed weight loads.

I know this is a frustrating problem, but this hints will help. Good luck to you and thank you for using Fixya. Your rating is always appreciated.

Washing machine make a bumping thumping sound at the start of every spin cycle, regardless of the size of the load (can be super small light items even)

This could be a transmission problem at the worst, if its the old style direct drive there are 3 bolts that hold up the transmission, if they loosen it could make that noise

Washer making loud noise and wont spin

Check and see if the inner drum is loose and floppy.if it is, it's likely the bearings have collapsed, and require replacement...If the drum feels stiff and tight, it could be that something is jammed between the inner and outer drums. Both situations could be costly...Get quotes....Good luck...Nomess

Thumping/knocking/rattles during wash agitation cycle

Mine is doing the same thing. I opened it up to see what was happening and it was the drive belt tension arm bumping around. Soon, the belt started slipping during the spin cycle. Now it won't spin and the belt starts to smolder from the friction of the drive motor. If you haven't checked your belt, that's a good place to start.

Loud clicking/thumping in rinse and spin cycle

It doesn't look like a motor problem !!! It seems like an unbalanced tub issue. The machin has suspension dampers and suspension rods, and it's look like one of them was damaged or "run away" from its location during machin's movement. Goog luck !!
