This happens when you have a video signal that the TV does not recognize. If you have an High Definition source such as a Blue Ray Disc player, High Definition Set Top Box, Or a High Defintion Gamming System than use the HDMI output of such device, connect a HDMI cable to this output and put the other end into The input of HDMI on the TV. Make sure you have this device on before you select the input on the remote of the TV or the TV will say NOT Supported Mode.

Not supported mode hdmi

Turn off power to the pc, connect the vga output on the computer to the vga input on the tv and boot up. The hdmi not being supported is relative to the operating system you're running and the age of the computer you're using.

How to fix my samsung tv

What's the source of the signal for the LN-R328W. The mode not supported message shows up when the source signal is not compatible with the TV. For example: if the source is a computer, use a different monitor to make sure that the refresh rate is 60Hz. Next, turn on the TV and set it to the VGA source before you turn on the computer. (Most modern computers will then see the TV as a monitor and set the correct resolution.) Note: this TV can't support an HDMI signal from a computer. (The signal is different than that for a Blu-ray player or HD set-top box.)
For game stations, you may need to check the manual for the box to set the resolution for your TV.

I hope this helps.

How do I turn off demo mode

To exit the self-demo mode, with the TV on, press and hold Play/Repeat for 5 seconds (possibly a bit more). If you press and hold the button again, you will go into the demo mode. Panasonic has the manual at their support site: . The direct link to the manual is .

I hope this helps.

Trying to connect PS3 to Samsung HL-S4676S tv using HDMI cable. I get message saying mode not supported

So I had this same problem. I found that when I hooked to a 1080p TV my PS3 was working, however when I hooked to my 1080i it said Not Supported Mode. So I then hooked to the 1080p and told my PS3 to limit it's self to 1080i mode and hooked it to my Samsung TV and it worked just fine. Give that a try and it should solve the problem. Hope this helps.

Samsung LN-T4661F will not display PC; displays 'mode not supported'. Using a VGA cable to connect laptop to tv

Look in the manual for the TV and determine which platform is supported. VGA, XVGA, SVGA etc. Set your computer output to the proper mode and the unit should work. Let me know how you make out.

I just bought a samsung bd -p1600 and connected to a samsung plasma tv, it just comes up not a supported mode. tried 2 blue ray disks with no luck. switched from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2 input with the same...

Check that the player is set-up in to a mode that is supported by your TV set. You should consult the user manuals of both the TV set and the player to follow through. Another solution which may be easier is to colll the Samsung service support.

Monitor says mode not supported

Yes the resolution your trying to display on your TV is not supported by your TV so you computer is warning you before doing damage to your TV. there are certain modes you can use and calling the manufacture or reading the manul will tell you what modes you can place this monitor in and then change it in the display menu of you operating system. the monitor is not the problem its the mode you in is not supported by your monitor so to not risk it your computer is telling oyu that is not supported so please look at the manual and go with the support it tells you.

TV won't accept monitor input

Try changing your computers resolution to something much lower. Mode Not Supported is usually an error regarding the Display Resolution of the video card being set higher than the monitor is capable of handling.
