I hope you can help me. I have a Philco 841205 turntable that the needle has "gone missing" on. I can not find any info anywhere as to what size of needle I need to buy to replace it. If you can help me with this I would be very appreciative!

What you need to do is look at the cartridge it fits in. It should have a make and model number on it. Put them into a Google search and the cartridge and Stylus should come up.
If this is a belt driven turntable then when the arm rests on the record the weight cause the belt to loose traction and slip around. The only cure is a new belt. Make a note of how the belt fits before removing as the biggest problem with belt turntables is knowing how the belt fits. When removed. Measure the diameter of the belt in MM and then the thickness. You won't need to be spot on with the diameter. Put the measurments into Google with the words turntable belt. Get the one that is nearest your measurements.
Check lpgear.com for Philco stylus replacement. You may need to find the "Contact Us" tab and request information for your particular model, but if they can't help you, then contact Philco (division of Ford Motor Co.)
