I HAVE A NEW POWER SHOT SX130 IS (CANNON0 I DO NOT KNOW HOW TODELETE THE DOWNLOADED PICTURES FROM THE MEMORY CARD

You can delete photos from your SX130 IS in two ways:
To Delete Photos Individually:
  1. Press Playback Mode button (looks like a play button and is located on the top right on the LCD-side of your camera)
  2. The last image you took will appear on the LCD screen.
  3. Use the Left & Right arrow keys or turn scroll wheel to cycle through your images
  4. Once you find an image you want to delete, press the Trash button. The image will be erased.
  5. Press the Playback Mode button or the FUNC/SET buttons to exit when done
To Delete ALL Photos
  1. Press the MENU button (bottom right button on LCD-side of camera) to bring up the Menu screen
  2. On the Playback tab (Looks like a Play button icon), use the arrow buttons or turn scroll wheel to scroll down to Erase. Press the FUNC/SET button.
  3. You now have three options Select, Select Range, and All images. Select will allow you to delete individual images, Select Range will allow you to select a series of images, and All images will delete all images from memory. This last one is the option we are looking for.
  4. Use the arrow keys or scroll wheel to choose All images
  5. Use the arrow key or scroll wheel to select OK when the Erase confirmation screen pops up.
  6. Your images will be erased!

How do I delete pictures on my camera?

Use the camera's manual. An electronic version is here:
http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/manuals/pdf/index/s/finepix_s9600_manual_01.pdf
Page 74 tells you how to delete single images OR all of them at once and should be simple to follow. Delete images using this approach. In general, it is better to delete them on the camera and NOT on your PC. From time to time, 'Reformat' your media card - it helps keeps the system on the card 'clean' and in best condition for new images. Format/reformat your card as described in the manual

How do you delete ALL photos at once from your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 once they have been downloaded to my MAC? Deleting them individually is very annoying and time consuming, but that is how I have...

You can delete all the images from the Camera using the Format option.

NOTE: Do not connect the Camera to the Computer to format it. It is highly recommended to format the Memory of the Camera by using only the FORMAT option in it.

If the images are stored in the internal Memory/Memory Card:
Press the "MENU" button.
Select the "Setup" option
Then select the either the "Internal Memory tool" or "Memory Stick Tool" to delete the images from Camera.

How do you delete multiple images from camera?

Are the pictures on a memory card? In that case, you're much better off formatting the card. If you continue to delete unwanted pictures, you'll fragment the card and ultimately you'll have problems. Every day somebody posts here with that problem. Formatting cleans things up.

If the pictures are in internal memory, select Internal Memory Tool from the Setup menu, and you can format the internal memory, deleting all the pictures. My earlier comments hold true here as well.

If you insist on keeping some pictures and deleting others, then go into the index (thumbnail) mode. Press the trashcan button, then select [Select] with up/down, then press *. Select images with the arrows, then press * to display the delete indicator on the selected pictures, Press the trashcan, select [OK], then press *.

How do you delete all images. The manual only tells how to delete individual images. I want to clear off 250 images.

Hi,
There is an option available in Menu, 'Format' that will delete all files on memory card at once.
Go to Menu, select Format and press OK.
Thanks.

How do I delete multiple images?

There should be an option to delete one at a time or all of them, but I'm not sure that you can delete a specific portion of your images all at once - at least not on the camera itself.

The best way to accomplish this would be to remove your memory card and place it in a card reader on your computer. You can then view the images in a folder and Ctrl+click just the ones you don't want and delete them with one click.

How do I delete all the photos on my Olympus 710 camera at the same time

You can do a permanent deletion of the memory card by going to the menu and choosing the Setup option and choosing the format option. Once you format the memory card all images are permanently deleted and the card can be reused to start taking and storing images again.

Deleting all images at once

Hi

Best way is to format the memory stick. Formatting will get rid of all images even locked ones. It is also the quickest way to do so and keep the card running in top form. You cannot recover any images from a card after it is formatted.

Hope that helps.
