I mistakenly deleted my main task bar from my Google home page

One way is to set google as your home page in the browser then pin the browser to the task bar.

Another way (if you don't want to make google your home page) is to create a shortcut on your desktop to launch the google website. you can then drag this icon onto your taskbar.

Internet explorer
Got to Tools (ALT+T) in browser
Pick Internet Options in Menu
In the General Tab you will see Box marked "Home Page"
Delete what is in there and insert http://www.google.com
Press Apply Button at the bottom of the Window.
Then Press OK to get back to Browser.
Close Browser and your new home page will be Google.com
If you cannot get it changed this way, then you have a virus which is re-installing ask.com as a home page.
Install
SUPERAntiSpyware Remove Malware Remove Spyware AntiMalware AntiSpyware...
to get rid of it. Then change the home page again.

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

each adress on its own line (type in google.com) or your preferred home page and browser
below that will be change search defaults click on settings you will see all search Providers
Toolbar extensions and Accelerators you have if don't need any of them you can disable or remove them.

you can go to www.google.com and download the google tool bar. You can also change google to your home page if this is what you are wanting to do. Go to your internet explorer and click on the tools tab at the top, then go to internet options. you will see home page there up top, you can highlight and delete what is currently in there and replace it with what you want it to be.

or about some browers while at AOl

the AOL home page,
try using tabbed browsing
have HOME on 1 page
and mail on tab 2, then problem ends.
or clear cookies is IE, ask or google that phrase, 1billion hits

What program are working with, can you tell me?
If it is Internet Explorer, the bar in the bottom is status bar.
It's at the
Main menu - View - Status Bar
make sure it is checked...
