Mcp61pm hm xp drivers

The drivers listed are for Windows XP:
Chipset Drivers (includes ethernet)
HD Audio Drivers
Video Drivers
Microsoft UAA Hi-Def Audio Update (KB888111) (install this before installing sound drivers)

That should do it! Be sure to install the chipset drivers first. If you have any other questions, feel free post!

Thanks Mark

Pci driver is not installing

Intel DG31PR Motherboard has Intel 3 Series Chipset and you have to install the chipset drivers, which would install the PCI Drivers as well. Please visit the link given below, download the chipset drivers and install them.

SERACHING DRIVERS FOR MSI K9MM-V FOR WINDOWS 7. WHAT VGA CHIPSET IS IT

The motherboard you mentioned has VIA K8M800 and VT8237R Plus chipset. Unfortunately there are no qualified drivers for windows 7 for this motherboard. I suggest you to try the generic windows 7 drivers. In case of a problem download the windows XP drivers from this official link and if the problem is still existing try before the installation to right click on the file you are about to install and check at the compatibility tab the compatibility with windows XP sp3 check-box.

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

I am unable to install sm bus driver on my ASUS P5KPL-CM on win xp SP 2

Go to this Asus Global web site;
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=6nnVb6RBxd7PhGmt&content=download

Click the drop-down button & click on your operating system.
The SM-Bus controller is installed with-in the chip-set driver.
Intel(R) P45/ICH10R Chipset Software Installation Utility WHQL V9.0.0.1009 for Windows XP/Vista & 64bit XP/Vista.
Normally this is installed after a fresh install of windows. However if windows is giving you trouble you can re-install the chip-set driver utility. Than check windows for any updates.

Good luck!

Windows xp installation problem

You might need to use the "Floppy" version of the Driver upon install (if you know what the chipsets are. Most likely it's Intel and you can slip stream the driver files into a new XP CD.
However if a partition is formated from Vista and you attempt to install XP over it without formatting it, crash is almost certain - XP and Vista have different versions of NTFS.
If you want both XP and Vista on the same machine, ALWAYS install the older one first! i.e. XP first. And create only 1 partition in XP where you intend to install on.
Then install Vista afterwards with Vista created partition.

Install xp on vista home basic toshiba satellite L-40

Yes, Vista Home Basic is junk!

1.Vista is considered an upgrade, compared to Windows XP. Therefore, Vista is not just going to let you install over it.

2.You have to get your Windows XP drivers back.

This is a pretty intricate operation, but once you have detailed information, it becomes do-able.
Below is a link with detailed information, and concise clear illustrations. I felt it would be better to give you this link, to avoid any confusion, and/or misunderstanding of information from me.

Should get you on your way!

Hi, mobo driver

Hi,

You can find all the drivers you need from HP's Download page for the DX6120 Micro Tower. I would guess the drivers you need are the chipset drivers, which can be found on the following pages (There are links to all the available drivers for that model #)

Windows XP Home

Windows XP Pro

Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit

Windows Vista Business 32bit

Please note that Vista pages do not have chipset drivers, as Vista should be able to install them on it's own.
