It depends what card you are using-if it's a sdhc card 4 gb or higher some products won't recognize the new high capacity cards-try to find a memory card reader designed for the new cards-sandisk makes them-and the printer if it's older may never support new card and may only work after you download and then send to printer

Windows vista is not recognizing my canon g10, so i am unable to download photos

Your camera uses SD or SDHC cards. All you have to do is to take the SD card out of your camera and put it in your computer's SD card slot to read the files. If your computer does not have an SD card reader, you can buy one with USB interface from places like Walmart, Kmart, or Bestbuy for under $10. Or get one off Ebay for even less.

How can I download pictures that were already downloaded from my Canon EOS XSI? My husband used the wrong cord and all were distorted so I erased the pictures off the computer. I just need to download it...

On most DSLR cameras, you have the option to delete all photos after uploading them to your computer. Unfortunately, that is a default choice. Chances are that was selected and thus the photos were erased from your memory card. In the future, deselected that option and you will retain the images on your camera.

My canon xsi digital camera is not functioning the way it should.

This is normal for an XSi. What might be causing this:
-Picture setting producing huge picture files (RAW vs JPEG) -SD card not of same class, try using a faster card, such as a Class 6 or 10
