My computer has no display even my RAM is new,,how to fix this

could be the video cable, video card, motherboard, monitor input settings or monitor hardware failure. start with swapping the monitor cables, then swap the monitor, then look at the video card (see if you can update the driver or swap the video card).

Hp a705w upgraded to 2gb ram, 160gb hd (sata) cpu running at 2.93gh,\r\nshould be a beast. runns slow and video streaming has slight freeze. HELP. Welcom291

the specs is already good for browsing and some sort of document editing. however, if you wish to play games or do video editing, i suggest you get a good video card. 1gb video card will be good. Even if you have a good amount of ram but your video processing memory is shared, it will definitely slow your computer.

Hello, i have a aspire 5742z and i would like to now if it is possible to upgrade the graphics performance by upgradim de ram memory, best regads

RAM overally enhaces performace in all aspects (OS,software, games), but when your graphic card is old and not capable of fast computing as new ones, than even 16 GB of RAM will not help you. Apparently, you laptop has integrated graphics INTEL. This is not gaming video card, it's good for office work, but nothing more. So RAM upgrade will not help.

Will a newer monitor work with my older 2.4ghz cpu

Upgrading a monitor does not require uparading the RAM or the video card on your computer unless you want to run graphic intensive video games.

Laggy display after a few minutes play

lot of the game now a days require a pretty big video card. A 5200 is outdated and i know u cant upgrade your laptop. The best solution to this is increase the amount of RAM in your laptop to the max. When you run games lower the video settings to low or medium. Another thing that can help is running msconfig in the RUN box and turning off lot of apps that run in background

Want to update my graphics base score nvidia geforce 7000m asus aspire 5520

I'm assuming this is on a laptop? Upgrades to laptops can be tricky. If you're lucky you can upgrade your RAM and allocate more memory to the video from your bios, but even then the upgrade is minimal. Your video card is actually part of your motherboard, as such you would have to upgrade the entire board to upgrade the video card... and at that point you're better off getting a new laptop.

Tried upgrading memory no computer doesnt boot up and no display

Things to try:

1. Check that your video card is seated fully (some are very picky about how they like to be inserted) and yours only likes only 1.5V agp cards. according to the manual.

2. Use one stick of ram. If you can get that working then add ram from there.

I have another old asus board that will only take one 512meg stick max, that is it. If i did add extra ram it occasionally would work for a few hours then ram errors again. The only ram that it liked was nanya for whatever reason.

I want better grafics

For better graphics, Please do one of the following.

1) If you have a very high RAM, You can share a part of it through bios for video processing. This will help you pitch your graphics a bit more.

2) If your system is having low ram, Upgrade your RAM to higher range.

3) If you want exceptional graphics, You will need to install a graphics card with high ram. NVIDIA and ATI Raedon sells few of the best graphics cards.

No video after upgrading ram

Did you accidently unseat the video card? Doublecheck to see if you completely seated the RAM and make sure you installed the correct RAM for your motherboard. Hope this helps.
