Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

Reading symbols in phone window

Phone displays radio beacon on upper left corner of window-what does this mean? U.S. issued T-Mobile phone-am now in Gatwick, London area attempting to make any call-local or LD- all calls "Fail." Symbol in phone window shows Radion Beacon with radiating 'signal marks.' All other T-Mobile users at same location can call out with no difficulty. I contacted T-Mobile prior to leaving U.S. and they stated they set phone up for use in London for "international calling." What is beacon mean? Thank you

Why is my sound symbol at the top left corner of my tracfone lg42C?

That means that the phone is on "Mute". Try to set a volume level other than "off". See if that works.

What does the mobile phone picture mean in the top right hand corner of my screen

That symbol usually means your phone is on vibrate. Try turning it off of vibrate and seeing if it disappears. I hope this helps!

3G symbol

It means that you are receiving a 3G signal (which means your phone can send and recive information at a much quicker rate- for internet or video call for example), it has nothing to do with any buttons you have pressed. It could also display an E or an H in the same position on your display.....depending on your network or ......

I could go into it more.......but i'll keep it brief. you get the idea!
