Question about Printers & Copiers
If neither cartridges are working, even after reseating the cartridges and if you have tried the troubleshooting steps given by the some of techs on the forum. Its time to get youself a new printer.
If the replacement cartridges ain't working the problem is with the printer itself.

Make sure the printer is on.
Open the printer cover. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the
loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.
Remove both cartridges from the carrier.
Close the printer cover.
Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power outlet to reset it.
When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.
Close the printer cover and check for any errors.
If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.
Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new
cartridge. You may also try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if the cartridge you are currently using is faulty.
If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.
