I have my workpad file on my computer and I cannot yet access it because the computer says there is no link to anything. So I am back to my initial problem: how can I read my file on windows 7 brand new computer? thank you again!

The IBM WorkPad 8602-20X is a rebranded version of the Palm III Organizer. You can download its manual from :

Helo my friend try to reinstall your Windows Mail Live 209 version. Make it sure that you have installed it properly and also try to look at the software you downloaded if it is properly download when download that file.

Lenovo has the IBM support now for IBM desktops and laptops. Try this http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/quickPath.do?quickPathEntry=860230X. There are manuals, downloads etc.

If you are syncing with Windows Palm Desktop software, you can (most likely) export contacts, calendar and memo items to a CSV file.

CSV files are data standards. They're simply text files with a comma-delimiter that designates where fields end. This makes them cross-platform compatible.

Once you export to CSV files, get them on your mac (email them to yourself, put them on a flash drive etc) and then import them into iCal, Address book etc.

Before you install this version of Palm Desktop, you must uninstall any earlier version of Palm Desktop for IBM WorkPad software that exists on your computer.
