It could be pixels going out of you LCD. I would recommend sending into Casio and have them take a look at it to see what is going on with it.

Why doesnt the lcd screen does not power on

Why not one complete question in stead of two or more incomplete ones?
To help you with complete details could be possible, without details of the camera it is impossible.

When I turn on the camera the screen is black. The digital screen works for menu options but is completely black when trying to take a picture

Hi,

The black screen problem means the lens sensor is spoiled due to over exposure to heat. Its better to give it to Olympus service centre. If your camera is under warranty period its well and good they will replace the lens sensor for free of cost.

Thank you

No button warks, but I can change the shooting mode and turn playback, but I can't change the image in playback mode.
Please, help me to solve this problem.
I think, the camera needs to be restarted, but how to do that?
Thanks a lot.

I had the same problem, with same camera. It turns out the sensor went out and needed to be replaced (it has to do with the lens). I sent mine to casio and they fixed it for me for free, I had a warrenty on it.

My screen keep showing the Card Cover Open Error even though the cover is closed. What can i do It says "Card Over Open" when it is closed

The card door sensor is either damaged, failing or gone completely. You can take camera apart, (7 screws I think) take the back off. Sensor is at the back of camera near the battery door. If sensor is missing, you will see 2 spots on the electronics board where it was connected. Carefully melt solder so that those two points are connected. If sensor is still in place it's probably damaged. Carefully remove sensor using small snips or something like that, with out damaging anything around sensor. Then solder 2 points together. Good Luck
