Will polaroid 52mm lens filters fit my panasonic fz45 camera

Your FZ45 accepts 52mm filters. You can use any 52mm filters you wish on this lens.

There are two types of polarizing filters: linear and circular. The linear polarizing filters are for film cameras and *some* digital cameras. Circular polarizing filters are needed by many digital cameras because the linear polarizing filter types interfere with the autofocus programs. If you shoot in manual focus modes only, it won't matter which you buy. If you do use autofocus, you ought to try the linear before buying - otherwise, purchase the circular polarizer.

I hope this helps! If it did, please rate my reply "4 thumbs up". Thanks!

I bought filters for Nikon d60 n I don't kno how to fit them.now they told me tk buy the 55 mm filters so I bought them because apparently thats the size of my lens which 18-55 mm n now I dunno if the...

They told you wrong. The 18-55mm lens takes 52mm filters, as is marked on the lens near the mount.

You can either trade your 55mm filters for 52mm filters, or else get a 52-55mm step-up ring, which will adapt a 55mm filter for a 52mm lens.

Filters go onto the front of the lens. Remove the lens hood if one is attached. You'll see a threaded rim around the lens. The correctly sized filter (or step-up ring) screws into that.

Searching for a polarizing filter for a nikon n-60, 52mm, yes I'm still using film cameras. Question; are filters for film and digital camers the same?

First of all, yes, the filters work for both film and digital cameras. Both amazon.com and bhphoto.com are good sources for filters. A good polarizing filter is Sunpack...good price, great value.

Does my Nikon D200 have built-in filters? or do I need to buy the Cokin filter system?

Your camera doesn't have any filters built in, but you can simulate a lot of the filter effects in post-processing. You would be advised to have polarizing filters for your lenses, and possible neutral density graduated fiters (which do work in the Cokin System). Those are difficult to do without.

Distorted color on image

You might have "color filter" settings. Turn the digital filters off. Here is what manual at p72 says. "You can take pictures using digital filters. The filters consist of color filters such as red, blue and green, a soft filter that produces a fuzzy effect. Color filters Eight colors, black-and-white, sepia, red, pink, violet, blue, green and yellow, are provided for the color filters. When you select a color filter in the Digital Filter mode, the display on the LCD monitor is filtered with the selected color, and the pictures are taken in that color."

Which types of filters can be used?

Please use thin type filters to prevent vignetting on the corners. The following filters are vignetting-free. Konica Minolta 49mm AC L37 (UV filter) (Thickness is approx. 5.5mm in total, and approx. 3.4mm excluding the screw part.) Konica Minolta 49mm ND 4x filter 49mm type causes vignetting. Please use Konica Minolta filter adapter (49mm > 62mm) and 62mm Polarizing filter II (Circular) in combination.

Do all filters need an adaptor?

you can get screw-in filters, but those that require adaptors or holders are more versatile, as you can use them on a variety of different sized lenses.

Yes, the Olympus E-20N has a 62mm filter thread size. You can attach a standard 62mm lens filter directly on the lens. Color filters would not have an effect on the camera due to the auto white balance.
