Question about HP VGA Webcam
Okay my cd-rom drive on my computer is broken. So i called the HP support and they told me to download the diver on the website. By the way my webcam is a HP VGA EW193AA
Anyway, i download the driver and after it installs, theres no software on the computer for it. Also when i click on the icon for installing it on my computer it says are you sure you want to unistall it. They guy on the phone said it should work, But then again he knew less than me.
First down load the software and driver. Then unistall any software /driver related to the cam via add /remove programs in control panel. Plug out cam. Restart pc without cam. Install the software you downloaded - at some point it will ask you to plug in the cam and it should detected. If it does not, your plug and play maybe disables in syatem services and you will need to switch it back on.
