Black LCD

I have heard that there is a CCD sensor issue with a few selected models. Somtimes if you bang on the case this will help a connection problem in the camera and you will get some change in the image on the display. If this does happen then that is the problem you have and canon will fix it free. Look around on the canon usa website i have an A70 that had this problem and they fixed it in a few weeks. Sometimes the display is all black sometimes it has purple lines and bangning or twisting the case fixed it. It did not sure it but it was a way to tell if it was the connection problem they admit being a problem.
