Question about Acer Aspire 3610 Notebook
The sound used to work fine on my laptop until recently. Now when it plays music using any programme the sound is distorted in a high pitched type way. I am trying to diagnose the problem but have been unable to do so. I have tried the device manager which says all audio programmes are working fine. have tried troubleshooting but it says there is no problem. I would appreciate some help, thanks.
Try finding the equalizer in the sound panel(part of the driver for the built in sound card) . the sliders should all be in a straight line directly across from the "0db" mark. that should solve it. also, disable all the advanced theater effects, they often distort the sound.
