I'm afraid there is no other for you to recover the system other than using a Recovery Disc which you can order from HP's website!

System status unknown

There is a mismatch and code diversion within the SMPro installed version you are using. This is either due to an incorrect version installed on the computer or your computer cannot apply that software because the system BIOs are not up to date, the computer is a 64 bit or 32 Bit system with the incorrect software version installed, or an illegal program.

Recovery disk for SX2855-UB10P

At what stage of the installation process do you get the message ?
Which operating system are you trying to load ?
Is there an operating system on your hard drive ?

You have to format your hard drive using a third party disc to erase everything on your hard drive

Restart your computer during the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS then using the arrow keys scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

Note this will erase you operating system you will have to have an operating system disk to load it onto you hard drive or create a partition to load another operating system

Note after you have loaded the operating system you should go back and change the first boot device to failsafe or optimised defaults after windows has loaded

your computer will automatically restart it might restart 2 times one to finish the installation
the next will be because the operating system is loaded and will boot from your cd

Hope this helps.

Heya

Have you had Yahoo Messenger on the computer before? If so make sure it is completely uninstalled before trying to install it again. You may need to use the Windows installer cleanup utility to do it completely if it has already been uninstalled.
There are more recent versions of the Windows Installer:-

I was running the program "windon Defender" on it and walked away. When I returned the computer was off and wasn't turn back on.

The Windows Defender Application is the Antivirus Software which will be pre-installed with the Windows Operating System(Windows Vista, Windows 7).
The Computer will always Shut down after any Windows Updates or any Operating System Updates are downloaded and installed.
If you are connected to the Internet and running Windows Defender, the Computer will automatically download the Updates for the Windows Defender Application.
Once the Updates are downloaded and installed, the Computer will prompt for a shut down.
The count down will be for 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds, the Computer will install the downloaded Updates and shut down.
This might be the reason for the Computer to shut down while using the Windows Defender.

If the Computer still shuts down randomly, the issue might be due to overheating.
All the Processors in Notebooks are designed to shut down automatically, if there is any overheating issues.
The overheating issue mainly occurs due to the malfunction of the Cooling fan.
If the Computer shuts down frequently, the issue might be due to the above factors.
It would be better to get the Unit examined at the Service Center.

Hung my computer everytime I open files in my computer document

This could be due to many things.
1 main thing if your copy of windows is not legal then Media player will NOT install proper and will cause problems.
However if your windows is legit then insert your windows disk and do a recovery to last date it worked and try installing it again but DO that alone don't run any other application while install is taking place.

My computer system dell dimension xsp-t700r i want to install another new window operating system but it will run to some extend and stop, though i have run several window operating disk yet it could not...

dear mary,

it may be the case that the harddisk you want to install the new windows version to
is either full or has bad sectors in it,
in both cases it is necessary to fully erase all data and format it, before installing the new Operation System!

you perhaps can try to install win2000,
let it remove any existing installations and partitions(blank the disk) from the harddisk, then run a chkdsk scan from the recovery console, format the disk afterwards and quit without installing fully.
Now you can choose your desired windows version.
It could make sense not to install a later win than win xp home, for this machine is more than a decade old and therefore remarkably slow. Use Win2000 Professional edition if you can get a hold of a copy.

Partition problem

In my humble opinion, the best option is to install a second (blank or larger) drive. Install some recovery software such as "easy recovery pro" or something that will be able to read files from a filesystem that has had the partition table written over. Start with trying to scan using FAT32, and in failing that, try NTFS. Restore the data to the second drive, format the first and partition as required. Copy the data back to the first drive to the partitions that you specified, and erase the data from the second drive. A free option may be pandora recovery, available at http://www.pandorarecovery.com/features/
