Hello:
I have an LG front load Washer Model #WM2010C. Its' receiving a error code (de). I've looked it up and it seems to be "door error."
I cannot open the door. When I go to turn on the wash, it appears, to lock (clicking sound) but the de error returns.
Any ideas? Thank you for your help.

You will need a new door llock switch. to change it you will need to loosen the front bellow by removing clamp, unscrew the twwo scrwes holding the switch then unplug wires to switch and re-install.

"dE" means you have a door latch error. If you've already tried to
unplug the machine and that didn't correct the issue, the door latch
assembly will need to be ordered and replaced to fix the issue. The
latch assembly is just not reading that the door is shut properly even
though it is.
A dE error code indicates that the washer door was unable to lock. This can normally be resolved by performing a simple reset on the washing machine. How to reset the washing machine: 1. Press POWER to turn the washer off. 2. Unplug the washer from the power outlet or turn the circuit breaker to the unit off. 3. With the power disabled, press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds. 4. Plug the washer back in, or turn the circuit breaker back on. 5. For more information about how to reset your specific model, please refer to the owner's manual. Press in on the door firmly and select any cycle. The washer door should lock, and the cycle should begin without an error code appearing on the display. If the cycle does not begin and the dE code appears again, repair service is required.
'de' stands for Door Error. There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

The "dE" error code indicates that the LG Tromm washer's door has not been properly closed. Closing the door firmly usually clears this error. If the error does not go away once the doors closed, a service technician should be consulted.
