Question about Polaroid One600 Classic Instant Camera

Polaroid One600 Classic camera won't take pictures

Hi, I am having trouble getting my camera to work. It is a Polaroid One600 Classic. When I go to load the film cartridge, the film cover doesn't eject. The digital counter reads 10 so I am assuming that the battery in the film cartridge works ar least. HOWEVER, when I go to take a picture, there is nothing.

I'm trying to figure out if it is the camera or the film that is malfunctioning. And if it is the camera, how do I go about fixing it?

Any assistance would be highly appreciated. I need to get this fixed soon as I plan on taking it on a trip next weekend.

THANKS!!!
jess

Maybe battery is working but barely. Try using another film pack. Make sure usin a new film pack something like Impossible Project 600 Film packs.

Anyway unless you are a collector or it has some sentimental value I would move to one of these new Instant Cameras . These cameras work better and new Polaroid film and Instax film are way better. Twice or more cheaper too.

Yes, the battery for these cameras is in the film pack. The idea was that you always get a fresh battery with fresh film.

Classic polaroid camera don't know how to tell if it works

All film pack contain a 6v battery pack. It sounds like this one had only enough power to charge the flash and turn on the green ready light. There may not be enough power left to take the picture and eject the film. You will need to try a new film pack which will have a new battery.
