Universal remote may give you few controls like power on-off, FF, REW etc but Menu may not open.
Substitute remote for this Combo is available in Remotes.com and original remote is available in Panasonic Parts under part number LSSQ0374
Same thing goes to your Sharp tv.

DVD player is unable to play or open. The VCR side works perfectly. The dvd player just quit working, don't know what the problem is with it.
it's posible you have a cd stuck in, i will open the cover and check it you can also you use a lense cleaner
