Hotpoint Top Load Washer LEAKING!! PVC pipe clogged? Help!

Note: There is an "Energy Guide" sticker on the front of the machine that lists the model # "YWSR2100T" in bold, with other model#s such as VBXR1060T, VBXR2070T, and WXR1040 preceeding it.
So I would assume YWSR2100T is the correct model number, but I have not found this machine anywhere on an internet search.

So far our machine has leaked quite a large amount of water two times. After the first time it happened, we continued to use it and it worked fine a few times more. Then it happened again.
This typically occurs when the washer is set to wash a large load, and only after the machine has put the clothes through the cycles.

Given, the machine is near 10 years old..but we've never had any sort of problems with this machine, especially not anything like this.

I've done some research and found forums like this where other makes & models of W&Ds solutions are being discussed which include anything from the hoses, pumps, filters, couplers, etc. So where do I begin?

There is a good size white PVC pipe that comes out of the wall which the hose connects to, and it seems to be 2/3 or maybe 1/2 of the way full with stagnated water. Could this be the problem? And if so, wouldn't that mean that it was moreso a problem with the pipe than the washer itself?

Thank you all in advanced!

My Hotpoint would not spin the water out. I kept trying to re-start the spin cycle and it would just start the high speed spin, then shut-off. After 8-9 attempts (okay, I'm stubborn), it started leaking water out of the back corner (left side when I am facing it). Since then, it still won't drain and each time I try to start the spin cycle it leaks.

Now my husband is draining it out with the hose down our basement drain so he can tip it over and look at the pump and filter??

I have had the same problem with this washer so I tried putting it on Medium load and it works fine. Any time I try to put it on large load the leak happens every time.

Door gasket leaking

My GE washer model wcvh6400j0ww was leaking too. The repair person thought the same thing the gasket. It turned out to be the water in-let pipe (WH41X10118 and you will need seal WH41X10119) and not the gasket. He ordered the gasket and took machine apart to replace and found cracked pipe. Take your machines front off and make sure it is the gasket leaking. Good Luck,

It is probably the hose washer or crimp thai is leaking.
I would suggest that you replace the hose to be on the safe side.

Water leaking from bottom ofoasis top loading machine

you may not be leaking out the bottom. Your stand pipe may be clogged. If the stand pipe has a slight clog in it, the stand pipe will over flow, and the water "looks" as if its leaking from the bottom... These pump faster than your old machine, so the pipe will back up faster... hope that helps

Water leaking from the bottom of the washer at the rear right corner!

firstly check that the inflow water pipes connected to the machine are connected correctly, feel around the pipes that touch the machine to see if there is any water. If there is the washers may need replacing on the pipe. Or the pipe may simply have got a bit loose through the machines spinning.
