It is rated as a dual 300 watt amplifier, shich strongly suggests a Class D peak value for each amplifier.

In theory- 100 watt RMS 4 ohm speakers should be adequate.

you can take a speaker out of a used cordless phone. I did that and replace the speaker and works great.

The KAC-624 is a 40 watt x2 @ 4 ohm RMS amp. 55 watt x2 @ 2ohm. 110 watt x 1 Bridged I assume at 4 ohm. Manual does not specify. It can run 2 ohm in stereo mode but is unclear on mono impedance requirement. It can run 4 ohm mono at 110 watt but at 2 ohm?

The fuse should be an 80amp fuse. 4 ohm subwoofers are fine. I am running this amp with 2 JBL 12" gti woofers in 1 ohm mode and this amp is goood!

hello, first i would find out what ohm your sub is cause you may think your setting it up for 4 ohm you may be going 2 ohm or 8 ohm. here is the link to for wiring solo baric. http://kicker.com/wiring_diagrams

did you check the resistors by the convergence chips? check to see if they are open. the resistors are usually lined up on the other side of the heatsink as the convergence chips.

The Punch P3001 is a 2 ohm stable monoblock amplifier. It therefore has only 1 channel. Not bridgeable.

Below are the specs off the rockford site.

If you are using your amplifier at a 4 ohm impedance then you will only have 150 Watt delivered to your woofer or woofers. If you are running your amplifier at a 2 Ohm load you will be recieving 300 Watt to them. This however will also draw more current to deliver this power.

If you are certain that you can deliver the correct current to the amplifier and you are running a 4 Ohm configuartion. Then consult a Rockford delaer for a sub upgrade.

Double check the numbers on the STK chips as most of these sets use STK-392-110 OR 392-150 CHIPS-----ONLY A FEW OTHER MODELS(MOST 43 INCH USE THE 120 CHIP.)
