Question about Car Speakers & Subwoofers

1 Answer

I own a 2001 Dodge Stratus RT coupe. The stereo does not work in it. We traced the problem to the amp. We rewired the speakers together bypassing the amp and the stereo worked, but after awhile, the stereo stopped working again. Any suggestions?

Now replace the factory radio with any after market one, run the speaker wires to the location of factory amp and connect wires to all speakers.

I was pulling my car radio & think i might have disconnected it. how can i fix it?

Check your fuses. Wiring is like plumbing.  Follow the feed.  Need a lot more information but just plug it back in if it's a harness.  It's it's just spliced together then you have to check each wire by disconnecting and rewiring properly.  Rewire while car is off turning to Acc after each wire.  Start with power, ground, pow ant, to verify connectivity.  Once power is on start with speaker wires.
