Question about Whirlpool AWM5145/2 Front Load Washer
I have had the top of the machine off to make sure tha the belt is still in tact, which it is, bu the machin just will not spin.....can anyone help?
The lack of spin could be caused by a safety switch that has failed; all machines are equipped to prevent spin if the switch is not activated, normally by a closed lid or door.
If the switch fails (not uncommon) the machine thinks the lid/door is open.
The location of the switch varies widely but is always activated by the closure of the hatch.
