How do I get best results with the weber BBQ as far as heat efficiency

You can actually get some good cooking tips at the weber on-line site. That said, you really don't want to concentrate on efficiency but rather on the type of food you are cooking. I always used to stack the brickets in the beginning to get them lit and graying and then spread them for an even heat to enable cooking on all of the grill surface. If you need more concentrated heat from below then leave them stacked or in a bricket rack.

How do i clean the heating element n a sterling tech grill

According to the Owners Manual ........

Leave the Cooking Grids in place for 5-10 minutes while
the burners are on HIGH and the hood OPEN. The
Cooking Grids may also be removed and cleaned with a
brass or stainless steel bristle brush and soapy solution.
Standard oven cleaners may be used for further cleaning.
Rinse the Cooking Grids thoroughly with clean water
before using.

If you have misplaced your Owners Manual, here's a link that you can download and print for more information, now and in the future.

Flame up & really bad hot spot , flavor bars keep catching on fi

Remove the cooking grids and briquette grid if applicable, so you can see the burners when lit. It should be an even blue flame thoughout. If not, you may need a cleaning or replace burner(s).

My kenmore elite grill has a ceramic cooking grid. it is 1 yr old.recently a problem developed. the ceramic grid lights as usual, but does not stay lit.once i let go of the knob the burner goes out. thanks...

check thermo coupling., its purpose is to keep heat at flame area-helps keep flame lit, like a pilot light... clean it with a finger nail file LIGHTLY- or use sand paper LIGHTLY, just to clean surface..

Where do i go to actually find a replacement griddle for a thermos fire and ice model # 46563003?

I am sending you to the easiest place in the world to find a replacement cooking grid, the internet. Most appliance parts companies are not carrying parts for this grill anymore.

However, Char-Broil is the manufacturer of this particular Thermos product. Your model number is actually 465630003, I think you missed a zero.

Anyway, the link I am giving you here will take you directly to your model. Near the bottom of the page you will see three tabs, product guides, replacement parts and universal parts. Click on the universal parts tab and you will find the cooking grid you want. I hope this helps you out. Here's the link: http://www.charbroil.com/Consumer/product_detail_m.aspx?ProductID=968
