Hp psc 1210 all in one colour problem

After replacing the colour cartridge in my machine, all printed pages are coming out either blue or green no matter what colour they are on the screen. I have tried printing from photoshop files as well as web pages but the results are always the same. I have also tried adjusting the ColorSync in my printing option presets but to no avail, even black and white prints are coming out with a green/blue tinge. Please help!! my hp psc 750 will only print black or a pinky red colour there seems to be a lot of black sludge? where the cartridges rest but i cannot see how to remove it can you help please

New HP 56 cartridge prints green

hello, are you sure its green, since this is a black in cart, only thing i can think of is machine not printing black , and the color ink cartridge is contaminated, this would be due to the docking area for the cartridge, on the left side of machine, there are 2 black rubber cups that the ink cartridges move over to seal. sometimes these cups have residual ink, which will contaminate the new inks. clean these black cups, and replace inks

How do I know which ink cartridge needs replacing - black or colour?

Print a test page and see which colors are not printing...

Give a b/w command and see if that prints to rule if the black cartridge is empty or not.
