Disherwasher will not work

What you need to do is take the cover off the front by removing the screws on the back of the door, then remove the cable that connects to the control panel. Then power it back on and see if the pump comes on briefly. If it does then the control panel is bad, if it does not then the power transformer is suspect.

If the reset procedure (those buttons you pressed) didn't work, it's because the machine is still reading a fault. It could be a few things... water temperature too low (indicating a bad heating element), partial blockage of the drainage hose, or something preventing the spray arm from spinning. If letting it sit for a while allows it to start again, I suggest you do that. It will stop again and the lights will start blinking. When it does, open it up immediately and see how much standing water there is. If there is a lot, look for a blockage in the drainage hose. That's the most likely, I think, because it makes sense that it would work again once the water slowly drained. If there isn't much water, then see if the water that is there is hot. If it's not, then it's the heating element. Checking for movement of the sprayer arm is a bit trickier, as it won't be moving while the thing is open. Though, if the first two are not the problem, there's a good chance that is. Or, of course, it could be a malfunctioning control panel giving false errors. There's really no way to test for that, unfortunately - but I don't think it's acting like that is the problem.

Dishwasher will not run. Air Dry/Lock on light blinks and unable to turn off even if held for 4 seconds. If you press Start, "Quick Rinse" light comes on and blinks along with the Air Dry Light....

Sound like you might have a fallty drain pump. When you turn the power off and started again, did you hear noise of pump draining the leftover water. If not , then you have a pump problem. Need a service man. Good luck !

My Whirlpool GU2455 dishwasher door stopping latching all of a sudden. I press the Start button. It just blinks and nothing starts up. Seems like the door latch lost its grip and hangs loose when you touch...

the door latch actually has usually 2 microswitches on it that connect to the timing device ie: timer or control board:: if the door is not latching properly then it will not power the control board and the blinking light is a failt code telling you that... it sounds like the door latch is broke and needs replaced... i would order a new latch very easy to replace. you remove the inner door panel of the dishwasher and then will see the door latch mechanism made of plastic of course isint everything these days.... replace it and reconnect the wires ...obviously i would suggest turning your breaker off to dishwasher prior to operating on it....a few good reputable sites to order parts from good luck to you

We have a Bosch SHU3307UC dishwasher. Two friends swear by theirs, saying they put everything in dirty and the load always comes out clean. That does not at all work for us. My wife has to just about wash...

Put dirty stuff in will eventually keep a tech like me very busy. We love to come and charge you alot for cleaning your dishwasher. Remember the Maytag commercials where they put a cake in it? Still got the dishes clean but before long it will cost you big time. Just run everything under the tap. Pot and pans should be lightly washed also. Watch how you place the dishes. Most dishwashers spray up from the bottom. Block it, and the spray will not reach the top.

I do not leave dirty dishes in my Bosch dishwasher more than a few hours and do a load every other day. However there is always a 'rotten' odor in it. I've tried washing it with baking soda but that...

Clean out the pump filter (located above the pump) then run the machine with a large measuring cup full of vinegar first then, dishwashing soap nothing else no other dishes for the two loads.

Same thing happened today

with the door open when your dishwasher was working normally Did the lights light up on the keypad? I am wondering because if the answer is the keypad only worked with the door closed possibly have a bad door switch.

or it could be a blown fuse inside the dishwasher. are any lights on at all?
