SOURCE: I have the porcher veneto

I too have the same toilet seat that needs replaced. Porcher just told me there is NO replacement seat that can be used and they no longer make nor have stock of this toilet seat. I have a local company looking into the problem and will get back to me. For now I am going to take detailed measurements of hinge placement and length/width etc, and take a tape measure to every home imporvement store in the area. Anyone with any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

SOURCE: I have the porcher veneto

What is the problem with the seat? I have 4 Porcher wall mounted toilets and all the seat mounts failed - twice! and the house is only 6 months old. Porcher initially sent me 4 replacement seats but after those mounts failed I had my brother (a professional engineer) design up a replacement part in CAD and he then had a local machine shop manufacture replacements using a CNC milling machine and UHMW plastic. The replacement part fits like a glove, is more robust than the factor part, and I am sure that the machinist would be happy to make more at about $50/pc. If you want to call my brother his name is Chris and his phone number is (902) 801-9061. If you want to see pictures of the part I can email them to you.

Best of luck.

I need a toilet seat replacement of Porcher Veneto Toilet. The part number is 70030-00-001 and I'm told by Porcher is no longer available. They say no other seat fits. Any ideas? Where to find

I had the same issue and basically called every single american standard distributor I could find. I finally found one! They had the gold hinges but I didnt care, it fits and works fine. Make sure you know the part number. I had a good salesperson that knew to look for any color hinge so I had a seat

Our Porcher veneto 1 piece toilet does not flush. Does porcher have recommended repair service near zip code 94901 ?

I have three of these beautiful babies from when I redid my bathrooms back in the early 2000s -- and one of them started to leak (would keep flowing a small amount into the bowl after filling the tank), so I did some online sleuthing and came across the parts as well as the how-to for a complete rebuild of the critical parts -- and rebuilt all three and they work like new. I am in zip code 94552 so if you need help from a licensed general contractor -- give me a call at 510-909-8813 and I can see if I can fix it for you (for a charge, of course).

Porcher Toilet Lid Hinges are loose

Hello,

Tinkerbellpp is right about the 70032-00.001being out of stock. You can replace this with the 70030-00.001(chrome hinges) seat which will fit the Veneto Toilet. You can find this at your local dealer/showroom. Hope that helps!

Not sure how to tighten or change toilet seat

First you want to reach underneath your toilet where the seat connects to it. You should see some sort of white nut. Just unscrew the nut from both sides. Once you're done with that pull off the old seat and place the new one on. Use the new nuts to tighten it down. For the most part you should be able to use your hand and not need any tools.

How do i take the lid of the cistern

There is a trick to this for Porcher toilets. Push big flush button down, then lift up and out the small button. The big button lifts out. Undo plastic bolt and lift up lid. cheers, zoofish
