Where is the clear bios jumper in my mis k9n6pgm-FI motherboard

JBAT1 is right next to the SATA2 connector.

Clear CMOS Jumper: JBAT1
There is a CMOS RAM on board that has a power from external battery to keep the data of system
configuration. With the CMOS RAM, the system automatically boot OS every time it is turned on. If you
use the JBAT1 (Clear CMOS Jumper) to clear data. Follow the instructions below to clear the
data:

You can clear CMOS by shorting 2-3 pin while the system is off. Then return to 1-2 pin position.
Avoid clearing the CMOS while the system is on; it will damage the mainboard.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Can't get this board to even start (no, fan,no beeps, nada. Tried 2 cpus, 3 PSs, Tried 1 stick, ram cleared the cmos, replaced the battery. All components work perfectly in an Asus and $45.00 MSI. No...

Even with no memory, a duff cpu and a good psu you should get the cpu fan running. Try shorting pins 8 and 6 on the front panel connector. maybe as simple as just a duff switch? If this does not work then can assume is a faulty board. Srri. Good luck

How do I reset the cmos settings for the msi motherboard ms 6570?

If you're unable to enter your BIOS, or if you set a system password in the BIOS but forgot it, you might be able to fix the problem by clearing the CMOS memory. On some motherboards, this requires you to turn off and unplug your PC, disconnect the CMOS battery for a few hours, replace the battery, and turn on your PC again. Other motherboards have a CMOS clear jumper pin that you must move to a temporary position and then return it to its original position.

Post back if you still need more help.

Thank you
