I checked wiring and it found OK. BTW, I checked wiring from switch to fan only. Are you referring to some other wiring? Please let me know.

Maybe the blades are hitting somewhere when it is rotating, otherwise, it could be bad bearings. Is it a store brand (Hampton Bay,Harbor Breeze or hunter fan sold in box stores)?

How to Reverse the Rotation of Single Phase Capacitor-Start Electric Motors

Reversing the rotation of electric motors can be done easily with 3-phase motors. This can be easily achieved by swapping the connection of any two motor leads. But 3-phase motors are usually found and used for industrial purposes. The ones found and used in our homes, from water pumps to electric fans, are single phase capacitor-start type motors. Unlike 3-phase motors, reversing the rotation of single phase electric motors is no easy task. Swapping any two motor leads will not result in the reversal of the motor rotation. Analysis of the motor windings and connections are necessary before any modification can be done to achieve the desired result. Let's take a 3-speed single phase capacitor-start electric motor with electrical diagram shown below as an example. Make sure the motor is disconnected from the power supply before attempting to follow this tip. This tip is intended only for individuals with electrical knowledge, necessary tools, and understand the risks associated with handling electrical equipments and devices.

The first step in the process is determining the start winding which is connected to the line (AC white) and to one side of the start capacitor. To accurately determine the start winding, disconnect all motor leads from the start capacitor and the speed switch for multi-speed motors and then setting your ohmmeter to the lowest scale (R x 1), measure the resistances between the AC white line and each of the motor leads connecting to the start capacitor. The one with the least resistance is the starting winding lead.

Once the start winding lead going to the capacitor is determined, reconnect the capacitor then connect the black AC line to the found start winding lead (marked X). Connect the white AC line to L of speed switch, the motor lead formerly connected to AC white to 3, red to 2, and white to 1 as shown below. Leave the green/yellow ground wire connection as is.

Dryer is frozen wont rotate when i hit the start button just makes noise then shuts off

The first thing I would do is try to rotate the drum by hand, there should be a little resistance at first, but once it begins to rotate it will rotate more easily. If it spins with no resistance it could be a broken belt or belt has slipped off. The noise I think your hearing is the electric motor trying to start up and may be locked up, and then tripping its thermal protection and shutting it down. These motors are durable but won't last forever, and are exposed to a lot of dirt and lint and can get packed in and around the motor affecting its operation. It doesn't sound like an easy fix to me other than a motor replacement. Hope this helps good luck.

Did you check if the fan starts up when the car has warmed up? The switch may have stopped working. Otherwise clean out the radiator and the outside. Make sure the thermostat is opening, even though it is new doesn't mean that it works. Start from cold and hold the top hose, it will get hot suddenly if it opens. Make sure all the hoses are clear and not collapsed inside.

Condeser unit fan not turning.

Hello, most likely youmhave a bad capaitor or bad fan motor. If you push the fan and it gets going than the capacitor is bad,if not bad fan motor.

My electric LG dryer's drum is no longer rotating,

more than likely the motor fan jammed by a sock (or something of that size) that made it around the lint filter; sucked down into the fan. probably not a belt.

Will not start pushing button

Hi,
Try to rotate the drum manually, if the drum turns freely the Belt is fine, if not then you need to replace the Belt. Otherwise motor is the problem, The start windings have become weak and can no longer start the motor.

Good Luck and have a nice day.

Replace cooling fan termstat and vehicle still over heats

Thermostat

Test thermostat in a jug and pour boiling water on it , it should compress meaning it works. Check that the waterpunp is operating pushing water into the engine .Check that radiator water flows to the watrpump. Is tension of fanbelt of waterpump sufficient that it doenst slip. Lastly check that the radiator fan is working if has a electric fan. if this doesn’t help check if radiator or engine water passages isn’t blocked.
