Re: i cant print
I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING ABOUT " ADDING UP INK ON ITS CARTRIDGES WITH COMPATIBLE ONE". IF YOU USED THE DISCOUNT REFURB, INK CARTRIDGES, A LOT OF TIMES THESE WON'T WORK RIGHT. I WOULD CHANGE TO THE CORRECT CARTRIDGES FROM HP AND TRY TO PRINT AGAIN. IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO LEAVE OLD CARTRIDGES IN A PRINTER FOR A LONG TIME IF EMPTY, REMOVE THEM. IF THE PRINTER IS NOT GOING TO BE USED FOR SOMETIME, REMOVE THE INK CARTRIDGES. AS FOR THE CORD, MOST PRINTERS USE A COMMON CORD FOUND AT MOST DISCOUNT STORES LIKE WAL-MART,K-MART ETC. YOU SHOULD FIND ONE THERE.

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.
USING THIS TYPE OF REFILLS JUST ISN'T A GOOD IDEA. THE INK IS NOT THE SAME AS HP CARTRIDGE INK AND YOUR PRINTER WAS MADE FOR HP INK, NOT SOME GENERIC BRAND. THE FACT THAT IT DOESN'T WORK UNLESS YOU STICK IT IN WATER, ETC. SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE. REFILLING IS MESSY, AND CAN CAUSE LEAKS IN YOUR PRINTER AND REALLY MESS THINGS UP. THE BEST BET IS TO USE THE PROPER INK CARTRIDGE WITH YOUR PRINTER. THATS THE TYPE OF INK IT WAS DESIGNED FOR.
Ink-backup mode lets you continue printing with one print
cartridge when the other print cartridge has run out of ink.
Ink-backup mode allows the printer to operate using only one print cartridge. It is initiated
when a print cartridge is removed from the cradle.
Exiting Ink Backup mode
Install two print cartridges in the printer to exit ink-backup mode.
Sadly, not all inks are created equal, and even inks that are claimed "compatable" are not allways safe. My HP photo printer worked great for 2 years, then I put in a "will fit" from a name brand office supply store, the printer nozzles plugged on the second print, never to print correctly again. My replacement printer is a Kodak 5300 all in one, chosen for low ink costs/ hi-output, and I get photo-lab quality, borderless prints day after day. (I'm a photographer/artist) I have run 6 color and 5 blacks for thousands of graphics, in a period of 2 months getting ready for a showing, with maybe 1 or 2 misprints.
