COMPUTER KEEPS ON REBOOTING ITSELF.

It could be driver problem. But if even almost all mode of boot doesn't help. Your options are repair, restore to factory settings or reinstalls depends on the features your system has for recovery. In old ways we just reformat it and reinstall all, backup cd always on standby.

If harddrive has a fault like many bad sector. We replace the drive.

As for your other system I will say that sometimes updates are not helpful enough. In old days of xp we are not updating, commonly we just update antivirus definitions. We experienced slow down and system crashes. We just install some enhancement software in exchange for some features of xp.

If I miss something just post a comment.

Missing Windows XP Product Key-Need to Reinstall/Repair XP

I'm assuming you have quite a lot of computer savvy??? You'll need to access that drive and get the original key off it. Try connecting the drive to another pc and see if you can get to the Windows folder. Once there, use Jellybean Keyfinder to navigate to the Windows folder in that drive and take note of the OS key. From there you can reformat and use the existing key.

Try a Repair Install with your WinXP Bootable CD. If Repair option fails you will have to do a Clean Reinstall of WinXP as a last resort.
Some details:
1. Boot with your WinXP CD
2.At the "Welcome To Setup" screen, Choose the option:
To setup Windows XP now, press ENTER. DO NOT choose !!!! To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R. IGNORE
To quit Setup without installing Windows XP, press F3
3. Accept the License Agreement and Windows will search for existing Windows installations. 4.Select the XP installation you want to repair from the list and press R to start the repair. If Repair is not one of the options, under the Circumstances you are in the next option will be Clean install
5. I this does not work it might be your memory --download and burn to cd memtest (http://www.memtest86.com/) and test your memory for errors.

We are having problems trying to crash our cumputer. The reason is children had downloaded some viruses and we have already did a back up of all good files needed. Now we need to crash it and reinstall...

Why in the world are you trying to crash your computer??? Just download a virus utility, such as Trend Micro or McAffee, and let it deal with the virus. If you are having problems logging in, restart your computer, and after it goes through the BIOS screens, before it brings up the screen that says "Windows XP" with the little progress bar, press F8. Select safe mode with Networking, wait for it to go though all of the MULTIDISK screens, and then download the virus utility. If this doesn't help, please report back and elaborate on everything. What computer you have, what you mean by "crash it" (reformat???), what drivers you need to reinstall... etc...
