Re: outlook macro patch
In Outlook, you can create Visual Basic for Applications macros that use the Outlook object model to perform certain tasks. If you want to easily run the macro at any time, you can assign the macro to a toolbar button so that you can click the button to run the macro.
NOTE: Since Visual Basic for Applications is considered "applciation-level" code, you should add the toolbar button to the Outlook Standard toolbar and not the toolbars on items.
To Create the Toolbar Button
On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and click Customize.
On the Commands tab, in the Categories list, click Macros.
Drag the appropriate macro name to a toolbar. In most cases, the name will be prefixed by Project1.ThisOutlookSession, unless you created the macro in another module instead of the ThisOutlookSession module.
With the toolbar button selected, click Modify Selection in the Customize list, to make changes to the appearance of the button. This will allow you to remove the prefix and modify the way the toolbar button is displayed. For example, you can change this setting so that only an icon is displayed on the toolbar instead of text.

Hi, follow the steps below. Don't change any of your settings since they
already work, but when you get to step 7 this is where you check
whether or not you want to remove the emails from the sever.
Open Outlook 2003 then:
Click Tools ' E-mail Accounts.
Select Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
Select POP3, then click Next.
Enter the following information:
Your Name: Type your name as you'd like it to appear when you send an email message.
E-mail Address: Type your Yahoo! Mail Plus email address (for example, email@example.com).
Incoming mail server (POP3): Type pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Type smtp.mail.yahoo.com
User Name: Type your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com").
Password: Type your Yahoo! password.
Check the Remember password checkbox if you don't want Outlook to prompt you for your password each time you check your mail.
Do notcheck the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) checkbox.
Click the More Settings button. The Internet E-mail Settings dialog box appears.
Select the Outgoing Server tab:
Check the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox.
Make sure that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.
Select the Advanced tab:
Under "Incoming server (POP3)," check the This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) checkbox. The number in the "Incoming server (POP3)" field usually changes automatically from 110 to 995. If it doesn't, type 995.
In the Outgoing server (SMTP) field, type 465. Under it, check the This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) checkbox.
If you want to save your Yahoo! Mail messages on both the Yahoo! Mail server and on your computer, check the Leave a copy of messages on the server
checkbox. If you want your messages to be deleted from the Yahoo!
server once Outlook has downloaded them onto your computer, leave the
Note: After your messages are deleted from the server, we cannot retrieve them.
Click OK to close the Internet E-mail Settings dialog box.
There are a few simple steps you can take to keep your Outlook running smoothly. If your Outlook is slow and unstable, it can put a serious drain on your productivity and even elevate the stress level. So take a few moments to get it shape.
1. Keep your PSTs at a reasonable size With Outlook 2003 and 2007 you can create “new style” PST files which do not have the old 2GB limit. However, for best performance, we still recommend keeping your PST files relatively small and not letting them grow too much above 1GB.
2. Disable Add-ins you are not using
3. Compact your PST files
4. Enable Cached Exchange Mode If you are using an Exchange-based mail account, enabling Cached Exchange Mode will likely improve Outlook responsiveness.
6. Keep an eye on your Desktop Search Indexers Using products such as Windows Desktop Search and Google Desktop Search is a great way to be able to quickly find email messages
7. Keep your computer up to date with patches and Service Packs
8. Reset Outlook cache files
9. Disable RSS feeds in Outlook •Open “Tools->Options->Other->Advanced Options” •Uncheck “Sync RSS Feeds to the Common Feed List
Make sure you have all of the critical and important patches for both your operating system and MS Office/Outlook. If you continue having these problems after being fully patched, go to the Add/Remove Programs (XP and earlier) or Programs and Features (Vista) applet. Select MS Office (if you have the full Office installation) or MS Outlook (if you have the standalone Outlook installation). In Vista, select Change otherwise select Uninstall (which should open a dialog offering to Repair or Uninstall the application(s)). Select Repair and click Next to let it do its thing. A reboot may be required when it has completed its work. You also may need to reapply service packs and patches so make sure you visit Windows Update, Microsoft Update, and/or the Office Update websites as soon as possible.
Yahoo uses POP3 as the e-mail protocol, which gives you ther option of retrieving messages but not deleting them. It sounds as though the "Leave a copy of messages on the server" option in the Advanced settings for the account is checked so that messages are left on the Yahoo e-mail server. To check on that and change it:
In Outlook 2003, select Tools->E-Mail Accounts;
When the E-Mail Accounts wizard pops up, under the E-Mail areaq, make sure that "View or Change existing e-mail accounts" is selected, then press Next;
Select your Yahoo account in the dialog that pops up and click on "Change";
The Internet E-Mail Settings dialog for the Yahoo account pops up. Click on "More Settings", then in the dialog that pops up, click on the Advanced tab;
At the botton of that tab, there is an area marked as "Delivery". Make sure that "Leave a copy of messages on the server" is unchecked, then click OK;
Click the Next button on the dialong, then click "Finish".
At this point, if you check e-mail using Outlook, the messages should be deleted from the server. If not, then we can go from there.
Try to check the mail using a browser(internet explorer). check whether that domain is under blocked list or not. Click on mail options and go to blocked domain list. check in your mails as well as your sister's mail.
You can also check the blocked list in outlook :
click tools menu -> select options -> preferences tab ->click junk mail button-> click blocked senders tab -> check for any domains listed there.
