You need to confirm that you have voltage on the B+ and ground terminals and have a good ground.

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.

If all of that checks out, the amp probably has an internal fault (blown parts, broken connections...).

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I accidentally wired the 12v wire to my ground terminal, and the ground wire to my 12v terminal. A little poof of smoke and the amp won't turn on anymore. Checked my fuse and power supply, all is fine. ...

Hi
It look like you burned the power supply in the amp if the fuse is ok
there is a circuit that protect the amp and its possible that it burned
this should not be too expensive to be fixed

Amp is off wont turn on..

Check fuses 1 should be on amp other is near battery on the new wire that goes to amp. If both are good check power at main and check remote with system on. If you have power and fuses good, your amp has an internal problem and needs to go to manufacturer for repair.

3 Options.
Check your powerwire, and make sure you fuse in your power wire is good and that your getting power.

Make sure you have a good ground. A bad ground will not allow your amp to turn on

Your remote wire that runs from you stereo. Make sure it's connected from you H/U to your amp. If you forget your remote wire(Blue), your amp will not turn on.

MTX Thunder problem

Make sure that your connection at the battery is still good-sometimes the wire corrodes up front when your system is installed for a long time-so check that out and of course the fuse that you installed a foot away from the battery so that you dont burn your vehicle down if a short occurs somewhere down the line

My amp is not powering up anymore

take the amp out the trunk and connect directly to the battery, use a jumper wire for the remote from the constant power 12volt , if the amp fail to turn on it may be damage. check the fuses and look for any burnt connection.use a test light to test for power at the connection.

Amp randomly comes on and off

You may have an intermittent power problem. You will need a schematic and a multimeter to the the power supply voltages in the amplifier.
